Excellent quality food, very reasonably priced, with a good selection of beers and friendly service. Pub was immaculately clean - clearly a very well run establishment

Called in today 17/04/22 on the off chance of a table for lunch and from stepping in to stepping out thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Great food and drinks, good prices and very friendly staff. Will come back when passing again.

Here for two nights and was a lovely easy stay. Great food for dinner and breakfast and amazing service. Every member of staff was Friendly and welcoming - even the cleaner at brealfast made effort ! Highly reccomend.

Fabulous pub. Staff amazing and the food. The rooms are lovely. Very clean. But a big shout to Max he was amazing as soon as we stepped in the pub. We will be back next year

Nice pub. Bit of a wait for food and service. Panini ordered was cold. Ciabatta and coffee good. Good menu. Warm, attentive and personal service after a bit of an initial wait.

Fabulous, very clean, friendly welcoming staff. Had a steak roll for a snack, melt in the mouth steak, superb. Room was lovely and warm, fab shower, bed was great. Breakfast was good. Great location too. We intend to explore the area more in the new year and we have decided to use this hotel as our base. We'll done to all the staff.

Lovely pub, my wife and I had a meal each, the burger was very good, but the pie was very hard and dry. The staff were lovely and friendly, however the check back wasn’t until we’d basically finished and by then it was too late to mention the pie. Overall a 4/5, but could have easily been a 5 out of 5 with a little bit more care.

Unplanned visit and we were very glad we came and will definitely come again. Delicious Sunday roast, service of a very high level and could not have been more friendly. We were able to take our little dog in as well and she was made to feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend.
