Tafarn Morlais in Carmarthenshire

My sister went here and had a steak. She couldn't eat it as it was very tuff. When she said about it the lady serving was polite but to give a £1 discount off a big steak costing £14 was bit of a joke and rather disrespectful. She feels very unfairly treated. I actually recommended the place so I feel a bit let down to. Sorry but its how I feel about it.

Had a beautiful meal here, the staff are very friendly and polite, the food is served hot, it is lovely food, can't wait to go again. This is the best placeI have been for food in ages. Thank you to the staff and Chef. 5 stars from us.

Excellent food, proper home cooked chips, swift service and friendly staff. Only down side they to close early, and we weren't aware of this, when your table is booked for 7.30pm this doesn't give you much time afterwards x

OUTSTANDING!!!! absolutely delicious, and cooked to absolute perfection!! Staff went absolutely above and beyond with food and service. My little girl is 5 and was a little sick and the staff went absolutely out of their way to help. My no 1 go to from now on. Perfect 👏👌. Andrea Morgan x

Our regular Sunday lunch restaurant. Food is always tasty, hot and plenty of choice of meat and vegetables. Staff are friendly, welcoming and make sure our visit is enjoyable and satisfying. We feel safe there in this Covid situation as complying with regulations and advice. Can highly recommend. Looking forward to our next visit.

Good choose of food on the menu and competitively priced. Lovely venue and the staff are friendly. Good location with plenty of free parking. Definitely recommend.

The service was excellent and the staff were fab. A fantastic choice on the menu, however the food wasn't as tasty as when we went a few months back. The chicken tasted slighlty rubbery this time around.

I visited here today with my fiancee.We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were professional and nothing was too much trouble for them.We ordered the Sunday carvery, it was amazing, really good quality, tasty food and good size portions.The team regularly checked with all their customers that they were happy with everything and if they required any of the vegetable platters or gravy refilling, I didn't hear anyone requesting anything extra, as there was plenty on the original serving.The tables are well spaced and the staff come to your table to take your order, eliminating lots of people walking around, this works well and makes it feel a safer dining experience.We had no room for dessert,so we asked if we could purchase them and take them home for later, this wasn't a problem and our desserts were brought to the table very well packaged and time had also been taken on the presentationeven though it was in a takeaway carton.Thank you all at Tafarn Morlais for making our visit a very enjoyable, relaxing experience.We will definitely be revisiting again soon, until then 👍

Delicious Sunday roast, very welcoming hosts, tables well spaced, you choose which meat you would like (beef, turkey, gammon or any mix of those), then the food is bought to your table with plenty of veg in separate dishes for you to help yourself. No room for dessert, but that didn't matter as we were able to order and take home our desserts (well packaged and delicious)! Would highly recommend.
