Lovely restaurant, great food, nice decor and reality friendly service. It might not look anything special from the outside but definitely worth a visit

Really welcoming and the food was amazing!

What a truly warm welcoming pub , had the most scrumptious roast beef dinner that left us no room for a pudding . The meat , vegetables and the best Yorkshire we have ever had was worthy of a Michelin Star . Huge thank you to the amazing staff , cannot rate this pub enough ,

I visited the Alpha with a friend just after Christmas. I don't often get out as I work in hospitality myself and its great to find such a friendly place locally. The restaurant staff were all fantastic and the food was excellent. Its hard these days to find places that get the simple things right, sometimes the simple things are the hardest things to get right. I had two courses (I skipped dessert as I don't have a sweet tooth). The two courses I had were the scallops and the lamb. The both dishes were cooked perfectly, all the flavours worked perfectly together as well. The scallops were cooked beautifully, but the standout for me was the lamb. The young chef Liam cooked the lamb to perfection, well done young man. Good local places need support in these tough times and the Alpha should be extremely proud of themselves. We will be back when we can find the time. Thanks for a lovely evening. 😉

Had a superb Sunday lunch last weekend here. Definitely recommend! The outside looks a little old fashioned and doesn't entice you inside BUT once inside the place is so lovely, welcoming, warm and the food and beer is excellent.Have already posted photos and recommended to friends. Please try it for yourself 😁

walking in its modern, clean bright place feeling relaxed straight away straight away the young waitress/bar girl was jolly ,funny ,welcoming and very helpful. Great service amazing food Best burger I have ever had (well done chef !),and my wife said the same about her food. Definitely worth the money . So pleased we came across the alpha Inn and would certainly recommend to everyone.👍

Visited on a Friday evening, restaurant was nice and busy with spacious and modern decor but also somehow cosy. Staff were wonderful, not rushing us, smiling and very helpful. Had a lovely meal, very tasty curry and burger. My husband's burger was amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Will definitely be back.

Lovely pub. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and the food is fab - warning go with a big appetite! We had the burgers and wedges from the bar menu, the burgers are from the local butcher and were gorgeous. I've got a few food intolerances and they were easily worked around. Thanks for a great meal 😋

Excellent restaurant meal - Katsu Curry and Sea Bass special both very tasty. Wide choice of local and premium drinks!👌🏻 can’t wait to visit again...
