The Butchers Arms in Carmarthenshire

A lovely country Restaurant/pub . The staff are both welcoming and helpful . The food is really nice and well presented and the portions were more than I could manage to eat .I'd recommend a visit and will definitely be going back again

Stopped off on the way to west Wales, 2 minutes off the dual carriageway, food was absolutely first class, home cooked and fantastic service, well recommended country pub

Wasn't aware that Sundays were Sunday roasts meals only. Nothing anywhere to tell you this. We didn't book and were given an hour spot at one of the tables. We had seen an online menu and liked a lot of the options that aren't available for Sunday lunchtime. What was available was rather bland made in bulk and very expensive. Had we known the menu options before we had ordered drinks we would not have stayed and gone across the road to the White Hart which has a better menu and a lot better value.

Great food, beautiful place, lovely owners who do everything they can for you. Love it, constantly returning.

Fantastic family run restaurant with all the traditional qualities needed to provide a wonderful dining experience. Very well thought out menu to cover all pallets, very good value for money too add.Looking forward to returning for another warm welcome off all the great staff and truly terrific meal …

This lovely small village pub is well worth a detour for a visit. Really good food (although the portion sizes were too much for even the men!) and very welcoming staff. The garlic prawns sharing platter was very tasty and easily shared by three people. All the mains were equally good and thoroughly enjoyed by all, however, we didn’t get to taste any of the desserts as we were all so full...maybe next time! We’re looking forward to returning soon.

This is such a beautiful, well led and atmospheric establishment. I wish I had taken pictures of my meal but we were enjoying everything so much that I didn't. Everything about this place is amazing. The food, staff and setting. We all had starters and mains and out of the 7 of us 5 squeezed in desserts although we were full. Nothing but praise and compliments to all the staff. Every single person we encountered was so friendly and welcoming and the food was cooked to perfection it was so delicious. If you can visit this place you will not be disappointed. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely return.
