The Caraway in Carmarthenshire

Terrible!!Booked for 6pm on a Friday.Not welcomed, just told to 'sit anywhere', they couldn't have been less interested in us.Ordered 2 mixed grills but told there weren't any. Told we could have surf & turf, if we didn't mind the wrong steak.Walked out & had a fantastic Chinese locally.

Had a fabulous desert stop at The Caraway!!! Both my friend and I ordered the Apple Crumble and custard . It was pipping hot and probably way more than I should have eaten!! The coffee was also excellent. I will definitely be back!

Very pleasantly surprised, we only called in as the Subway was shut. Only read reviews after we’d eaten, and so glad we did.Clean, staff friendly and service quick.The meals were great, blue steak for one and very well done for the other, both exactly as we like it and both delivered hot at the same time. The puddings were equally good.Great value for well cooked food.

Food was nice, and delivered in a timely manner. Table hadn't been cleaned down and there were chips on the floor under the table. Was a pleasant experience though in all

Lovely dog friendly pub. As we sat down one of the staff brought over a bowl of water for our dog. We both had a lovely meal and would definitely go there again. Several of the staff spoke to us, all very polite, taking time to make sure we were ok. 5* all the way.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Helpful and approachable.Nachos starters:these we're ok although a bit 'chewy'. Maybe been standing too long.Buffalo cauliflower:very nice.Beer battered fish:lovely cod, good portion - the batter was a tad greasy.Overall a pleasant experience.

We was made to feel welcome very friendly services d COVID rules was adhered to. Food was lovely and a good size portion. I had the sausages and they were lovely and meaty

We were served quickly, which was great, but we over two hours, and then had to approach a waitress, to have our plates removed and order sweet. It then took another 45 minutes before we had to chase our sweet arriving. Apparently the order had not been out in! Very poor.

Nice place and nice food. Service wasn’t the best, no pleasantries, didn’t offer us the basics such as sauces, salt vinegar.Nothing even such as enjoy your food !!Won’t rush back here unfortunately

Spent well over £50 I Had Prawn cocktail as a starter the prawns had a funny taste so didn't eat it, pint of tango tasted watered down when questioned was told that's what we serve the main came, I ordered a mega burger, and it was honestly like chewing on a old peace of rubber that you'd find on the street also sent the burger with sweet potato fries, when it should have been chips, I honestly wouldn't let my dog eat in this hole
