We went out of curiosity, the lady that served us seemed a little rude, I'm not sure if she was doing banter with me or not, but seemed quite rude the way she spoke to me about my decision making.So that made me uncomfortable and I almost left, but I didn't.Food was good, it's nothing fancy, but it takes you back to how food used to be. Not complicated and just good to eat. I had the burger and it was nice, I'm not one for eating dough, but they're buns were really nice too. Chips were good too. My friend had a steak ordered as medium and it came well done, treated very watery (assuming it's frozen).I'd recommend going, but don't expect much, it makes a change going for something simple rather than these fancy places that charge a fortune.

What can I say it was fantastic. Sian Christine and the Chef couldn't have been more welcoming. Food done to perfection. Very reasonableThey also have rooms to rent.

This place was recommended by word of mouth to me,I turned up to eat,but sadly no tables available,I Should of booked ,the current barmaid is an asset worth keeping,as for the pub itself,hope it does well.

An excellent Sunday roast and great value. Good puddings too. Staff are friendly and helpful and they're doing a really good job of managing infection control re Covid19.

As a group of four we stopped for a meal on a very wet a d windy Sunday lunch time. What a little gem of a place we found. The greeting we had was warm and friendly, the service was brilliant and the food was top class. If lived nearer this would be my Sunday dinner option every time, so good for the money.
