Chippys in swansea are tight as, ordered a chip butty fish an curry sauce, £11 nearly and couldnt even fill a toddler. Borderline scamming people.

Worse chippy I have ever been in.Small children's size portions certainly not big enough for a hungry adult.Chips were awful so just as well it was small as they went in the bin.First and last time I ever use this place.And a smile and a thank you wouldn't go a miss when the food gets handed over.

Way too expensive for the rations they give out. Paying for a meal not a snack!

Will happily drive out of my way for the chips here, I have 2 local chip shops close to me and they are not a patch on this place!

Nice chips , Lovely Rissoles, but portion sizes abit too small and not the same as other places in size.

Lovely fresh fish and chips. Staff very friendly.

Tried this following visits to usual suspects in the area... it has to be said this place is much better. The fish and chips were spot on. Portion size not daunting....fish and chips crisp and not greasy. Thin batter perfectly cooked....NOT that terrible orange carapace that other places dole out. Worth avoiding the chip shop monopolies in the area and try this The lady in charge has obviously been in the business for years and is hands on. Not children being left to deal with it👍

We highly recommend this fish and chip as it met so many of our family's dietary requirements, Including vegan.

Cod cooked as it should be, very thin and crisp batter, fish white and not grey, boneless and skinless too, unlike that in a lot of other fish and chip shops. The chips are good as well.The staff are always pleasant, cheerful and friendly.I heartily recommend The Contented Sole.
