Wonderful roast lunchtime meal. Well worth a visit

Lovely place built on old Roman fort. Good selection of drinks, and friendly staff. Beautiful beer garden overlooking the river.

Stayed at the B+B and ate dinner and breakfast here. The area and beer Garden are beautiful, the rooms are very clean and comfortable, both meals were excellent and the landlady and locals were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. I will definately be returning and would highly recommend.

Food is amazing here and is all fresh ingredients. I recommend the huevos rancheros and the baked field mushrooms with goats cheese. I look forward to coming back.

Excellent birthday meal 😊 We will be back very soon! They managed to cater for our group of 5 that included carnivores, vegetarians and an onion-avoiding person. Great choice on the menu and super options on the blackboard too. Delicious. Highly recommended.
