Great breakfast, beats the service stations hands down. If your heading west keep going after M4 until you reach here. Proper pots of tea as well.

There were 15 excellent meals served for a classic car meeting.Everyone enjoyed, the service and staff were great. Must go again.

We used to enjoy stopping at The Forge Resturant for a meal when passing, on our way home. Now there are new owners and the standard of food has dropped dramatically. We ordered steak and ale pie, one with chips one with garlic potatoes and side salad. We recieved a plate of gravy with some bits of meat with a circle of puff pastry sitting on top.The salad was sitting in a pool of gravy, and the garlic potatoes could be easily identified as been cut out in a rectangle off a larger portion, placed in a serving dish and then microwaved. It was just sliced potatoes with some garlic and a bit of what looked like grated cheese on top but completely dry, there was no sauce at all. Very disappointing and now won't be heading back there.

Nice homecooked style food. Vegetarian options available. Nice friendly staff. Only problem i had was a very slippery floor...I have mobility problems and felt very nervous walking on it. UPDATE: Went again and lovely to see more seating options now covid restrictions are lifted. This meant less floor space to negotiate and handy grabholds if worried about slipping. Portions are generous and food was delicious. Staff are wonderful and helpful.

Friendly people , good food , free sauna , small swimming pool and tiny gym :)

Food was hot and well cooked and presented. Very quiet though we were the only ones in our part of the restraint.
