The Fountain Inn & monroe's in Carmarthenshire

Excellent village pub , food is excellent staff are so helpful and polite wish there was more pubs like the fountain inn

So welcoming on visit to the pub so polite staff great food would highly recommend, thanks to all the staff x

Gym, pool and outdoor affinity pool Absulusut amazing

we had lunch yesterday in The Fountain Inn and although the girls were very nice, they told us that the food would be half an hour, which we accepted, but it was more than an hour after that we had it, considering we had a baby, a 2 and half years old and a 6 years old it was not really ideal. we recognised that since the pandemic, it is difficult to find staff; it was also the only place to eat in town apart for a fish and chips shop, as it is half term, we think that more should have opened.

I love this place. Must go again. Lovely staff and caring people. I danced the night away with crazy wonderful people. Coming back very soon as you are only down the road really. I'm nr. Llansteffan xxxxx

Standard pub fare, but the gravy was so thick and viscous, it was off-putting.Friendly service, but lacking atmosphere.

Lovely pub, great atmosphere and the food and drink are lovely. There is also a nice pub garden. Highly recommended!

Called in for lunch, very pleasant and a warm welcome from the 2 girls behind the bar 🍸.We both ordered the pie of the day.Wow we weren't disappointed home made individual steak and ale pie, chips, peas and delicious gravy. The pie was filled with scummy chunks of melt in the mouth steak and superb ale, and the chips 🍟we divine. We highly recommend 👌this establishment 10/10.

Went here after visiting the castle and was impressed with pub. It was clean and tidy. The seating was comfy and the lady behind the bar was lovely. The toilets were extremely clean. Not much on pump but other than that, it was a nice half hour break from our 4mile hike after being to Castle and surrounding areas. Haven't had meal here so can not put my views or opinions about the menu or quality/quantity of food.
