The good reviews are warranted: great owners, a warm welcome, no nonsense. Unpretentious, classic pub grub. It really is what you’d call a hidden gem. The local Double Dragon beer comes highly recommended.

Don't judge a book by it's cover. This is a proper pub serving really great food with a very welcoming and friendly husband and wife team. We had a great evening here.

Nice pleasant lady served us good sandwiches and chips. Very dilapidated pub. Curtains tied back with rubber bands. Never seen that before 😃. Needed a very big re-vamp, but like I say, nice lunch.

This pub is well worth a visit. Dai and Rose are working hard on renovations but still find time for you. You will be given a warm friendly welcome to enjoy good beer and great homemade food.
