Rooms dated but comfortable the disabled room was amazing the best we have stayed in evening meal was lovely only reason not five stars breakfast let it down. All tasted bit greasy toast was great .could of done with more variety on cereal.

I’ve been in town for 3 day’s, tried a few places and can honestly say, it’s the best around!I work away from home each week and often find it difficult to find somewhere that can provide a decent quality meal. The staff are friendly, the food options are very good and the quality is incredible. The best burger I’ve ever eaten!I will be back tomorrow night, and probably Thursday!Don’t hesitate, give this place a try!

Good central location. Cheap as chips including breakfast £75 quid for twin. Old building with very creaky floor boards at least in our room. Breakfast freshly cooked but very herby sausage. Parking in rear and cover usable for motorcycles.

Fabulous food with extremely good vegetarian options. The mushroom and spinach wellington was absolutely delicious. The non-vegie options were equally as good with the steak and ale pie proving to be a particular favourite. Highly recommend.

Went here for food on Saturday lunchtime. The food was amazing. One of the best Lasagne I've every had. Highly recommend. Service was brilliant, atmosphere great all round brilliant

Downstairs is very nice and period, the rooms are dated and lack charm and character. Large room, mainly empty. Rainfall Shower over bath with small shower screen, most of the water goes all over the floor. The food we ate was well cooked and nice. Staff could be a bit short and seemed understaffed. Ill do my best not to stay here again but i will eat and drink here.

Lovely lunch, well deserved after a walk around Usk Reservoir. Fresh and tasty, not cheap but worth the price. Caution note, there is LOTS of garlic bread, at a whole baguette per person.

Fantastic pub and hotel in the centre of the lovely town of Llandovery. An extremely cosy, old fashioned and friendly hotel which will transport you back in time to days of old! Bar and restaurant are very comfortable and just beautiful, the rooms are excellent and service is top notch. Decent range of drinks and the food is very good! Small private car park at the rear and lots of lovely walks around the town.

Booked this as a last minute trip and it really paid off. We were greeted with a warm welcome, amazing food, lovely room that our dog was able to stay in too. The management and staff have got the service spot on, so friendly and conscientious. We absolutely LOVED staying here and will definitely be back!

Had a reasonable Sunday Lunch here. Good value, friendly service. However, the big spoiler was that it was January and quite chilly in the pub. If they had got a fire going in one of the several fireplaces, it would have made a big difference.
