The Pemberton beefeater in Carmarthenshire

We went here today and had the 3 course lunchtime offer for £10.99. Absolute bargain! Lovely food and staff were very friendly and polite. Portions were generous too 😀....Will definitely be coming back soon.

Early evening meal awful. I’ve been a number of times but tonight you failed miserably with the food quality. Beer battered cod with triple cooked chips. Batter was soggy and didn’t taste cooked, the triple cooked chips were just the normal chunky chips and the thicker ones were only part cooked! Given 3 stars because at least the waitress staff were giving good service.

Ordered the garlic prawns from the sides of the menu priced @ £3.99 when it arrived I couldn't believe what I saw 2 prawns that had just been checked in a bowl with no garnish etc. Also I ordered a pot of so called blue cheese sauce when it arrived it wasn't warm and had no taste of blue cheese in it. Won't be eating there again.Would of given half a star if I could

I love beefeater as a company and normally their restaurants are my top choice but sadly this one did not live up to my expectations.I ordered a surf and turf which took a bit long to make given the amount of people in the restaurant. When it arrived the prawns were tiny which was rather disappointing but the steak was cooked very well. I have no complaints there.As dessert I ordered a profiterole sundae which came with two small profiteroles but it was lovely non the less it tasted good.The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us throughout the whole ordering process and advised us on alternatives to food and drinks that were not available.Overall, this is not my favourite beefeater but I would still recommend you come and check it out as the atmosphere inside is fantastic and everyone is very friendly and welcoming.

Staff were lovely.My food tasted lovely but was just not enough, I went home and had to have another meal (and I'm not a big eater) I had the grilled prawn skewers with sweet potato fries and a grilled veg extra, this was not enough to fill a child.A friend I was with had half a chicken that she had to send back too, it was supposed to be from the grill, it looked like it had been microwaved, it was the palest grilled food I have ever seen (she couldn't eat it).

There wasn't very many people there but we were put with a noisy crowd so asked to be moved and we were. The staff were nice but had to wait a while for food. We thought the menu was expensive for a lunchtime and very small portions. In fact I commented on the small portions of chips with a raised eyebrow from the waitress. We won't be going again.

Very pleased with the service and quality of food. Will try and get back again and again and again . Etc etc

A rare 5 star from meBurger, chips absolutely lovely and tatsed so fresh, chips perfect,Coke was a tad watered down but the meal outshone that.Deffently recommend and will be backTo add the staff was very friendly, helpful and make you feel welcome. 😀Well done beefeater, this is the best one

Excellent service. The staff were wonderfully polite and extremely warm and welcoming. Very relaxing environment with a great atmosphere and food.
