Visited twice. Nice meals, varied menu with the usual pub grub on offer. I had chicken in white wine cream sauce and dill. Partner had the pie which he enjoyed. The galaxy cheesecake was a generous slab as was the sticky toffee pud. Pretty reasonable prices. Friendly service.

Dont bother absolutely pathetic unacceptable behaviour from staff. Went in with my son who's 21 he didn't have I'd got thrown out cause he was drinking my drink. The law states they can drink wiv a meal with adults. I'm saying they are judging by my colour. Walked out wivout paying🤦‍♂️In response 2 your post look the law up, or u making ur own law up by colour of skin seems 2 every1 I have spoken 2 u. That you are.Someone aged 16 or 17 and accompanied by an adult, can drink (but not buy) beer, wine or cider with a meal at a licensed premises (except in Northern Ireland). But it’s illegal for people this age to drink spirits in a pub anywhere in the UK, even with a meal.If your restaurant does not want to abide the law this should clearly be stated at bar & on entering your premises. But I did not see any signs. I feel i was being targeted for the colour of my skin. Never in my life i have ever been refused or asked to leave a pub/restaurant for anything let alone giving my own child alcohol and I have 3 children & the son I was with was the youngest. Shocking behaviour from a local pub. No I did not pay for my drinks & I'm still waiting for police to knock my door. I will be taking this matter further

Went here for dinner today after going to see the alpacas with my kids and wife.Great service and great food. Highly recommend. The chef and waitress were very attentive and done everything they possibly could for us.Hopefully we can go back soon and take other members of the family with us. This place deserves 5 stars for sure! Thank you 🙏

Friendly, helpful staff the majority of the time.Found it really easy to book in & pay for. There is an option for breakfast & there is a bar & restaurant on the premises.Really clean. The ensuite was a bit 'tired' looking, but very clean & since we went with the budget accommodations I have no complaints & find it easily rivals travelodge.

Lovely local homemade food, thank you so much for fitting us in last minute. Staff very friendly too. Highly recommend

·

Friendly staff, prompt attention and service was quick. This sounds like an odd complaint, but the food was piled too high on our plates. Which meant there was a lot of waste.Waste = reduced profits.

·

Amazing Sunday dinner..exellent service .staff very helpful and checked regularly to ask if we needed anything else...if I could give a 10 star I would..will definitely return...

Took my wife here on Sunday for a carvery. I had beef pork and turkey, the beef melted in my mouth. Very generous portions. Had the homemade cheesecake for desert which was very tasty. Staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Have already booked agim for next Sunday. Well worth a visit

Booked a table to go for a pre baby meal for our good friend over the phone, lady in the phone was very helpful and a pleasure to speak to.Team were happy for me to decorate the table prior to our arrival, which was fabulous. On our arrival, entire team were attentive, kept us informed at every stage, made everything feel smooth running from start to finish when seating us.Plenty of choice on the menu for everyone. Pleased to see a vegan menu for myself which was lovely. Food was served very quickly, considering the menu specified there may be a wait, as menu items were fresh and homemade. Food was lovely and hot.Waiting and bar staff were lovely, very attentive, provided menu recommendations, were knowledgable and made sure we had everything we needed, but also checked on our table throughout our visit. Drinks were lovely, good selection of largers and beers on tap. We had a lovely evening, a good meal. We thoroughly enjoyed. Restaurant and bar were very cozy, warm and lovely and clean. We'd definitely come again. Thank you team at The Red Kite. X
