Great Sunday Lunch. Very pleasant service. Sunday lunch even good for me as I'm coeliac and lactose intolerant. Would love some more vegan GF starter and pud options but so pleased my lunch items were not limited. I could even have the gravy which isn't always the case in restaurants and pubs. 5 star ship aground.

Had a booking for Sunday lunch at 12.30 celebrating 45th wedding anniversary arrived a few minutes early we were seated and gave our drinks order when she brought the drinks she took our food order. The next table got their food it did look good, some time later the table opposite sat down six of them, the next table finished their meal and were cleared away. Table opposite gave their food order we were still waiting for our starters, asked at the bar how long would they be was told not long, by now it had gone 1pm server came and said they were having trouble in the kitchen and asked what we had ordered. At 1.10 the table opposite got their starters the same starters that we had ordered so we got up and walked out stopping to pay for our drinks at the bar. They did say then that they would get our starters but we had had enough. They were only three tables occupied in the dining room so they were not busy we could see the waiters standing around talking, the starters were only pate so would only have taken a few moments to plate up. Thank you for upsetting my wife.

What a wonderful find, food excellent and plenty of it and my husband was so pleased to find that they had Brains S.A on tap and a very good pint it was too . We enjoyed it so much we went back again today . Very pleasant staff and comfortable surroundings. 5 stars all round

As this was our first visit since it came under new ownership we were looking forward to an enjoyable evening with friends. The first thing that put us off was the manager sitting on an adjacent table working on his computer (in the restaurant!!!). I've never encountered this anywhere else and was very uncomfortable. This should be done in an office or living quarters. We had our meal and then were enjoying some drinks when approximately 10.30pm were informed that last orders would be taken soon. As the pub had almost emptied of customers by then I can only assume that they wanted to shut as the manager blamed "the price of electricity" for needing to close, what we considered, early. We and our friends have vowed not to return in future.

The choice was very good, something for everyone. The food was excellent as was the service. My only negative was the alcohol price , £25 for a bottle of red wine in a pub is somewhat steep. I would return though and do recommend it.

Omg, 4 of us went, 4 of us were very impressed. Food 10/10. The welcome is out of this world, staff are all brilliant! And the landlord is an amazing character! Definitely new local watering hole for us! Highly recommend

Lovely decor when we walked in, not what we expected. Food was tasty although slightly cold and waitress came very quickly to clear plates away, quite pricey too

The best Sunday lunch I've had in many, many years. We came on a sunny day and the boys enjoyed sitting outside with easy access to the swings and the slide. The food was so good it was almost a shame to eat it, you'll find yourself wanting to kick the plate. On the inside it's cosy and absolutely stunning.

Called in for a quick drink and ended up with a beautiful Sunday lunch in the beer garden. Best we’ve had and service was great. Thanks highly recommended
