The Torbay Inn in Carmarthenshire

Visited this weekend and although the pub was very quiet we were not let down with food. If you are after a quiet meal and with cheaper alcohol that in Llandeilo then this is the place to visit.

We had a lovely dinner at Torbay Inn two days ago. The service was polite and warm, the food was amazing! The music from the 90s was super!! Would love to come back for a meal again.

Dropped in for our evening meal by chance. So glad we did. I had the special which was venison stew with dumplings served with freshly cooked veg and mashed new potatoes with garlic and my husband had 8oz burger which was served with onion rings salad chips and coleslaw. The venison stew was to die for. The taste was fabulous so much so that i can honestly say if you were full you would still want to finish this meal. The veggies were cooked to perfection. My husband’s burger was perfect and so very tasty. Price for two high quality meals and two alcoholic drinks was very reasonable. All in all fabulous food, great service and a great atmosphere.

Dissatisfied with my meal, worst steak pie I've had in a restaurant served with an eyeful of soggy chips but my wife was happy with her cod , vastly overpriced and I will not return.

Lovely food nice friendly staff would definitely call again if over that way as we not from the area

Easter Sunday Roast dinner was amazing. Excellent value, friendly staff. Food had so much flavour. Can not recommend highly enough.

Went for a meal here tonight for a friends birthday the food was amazing so tasty and big portions. Good atmosphere and the staff we really friendly and very helpful 👍

Heard a lot of good reviews of this place but found the Sunday lunch today to be fairly ordinary not special. Plates weren't warm & food could have been hotter. Nevertheless it tasted nice.It was also somewhat off-putting as a group on another table complained continuously & loudly throughout as we waited for and then ate our meal.Must have been a bad day in the kitchen.

After the complete renovation by new owners, it looks great. It serves two good real ales, and has Sky sport.Unfortunately, problems finding a chef means that food is limited to certain days.Chek before going.

A cosy country pub with amazing food! We had a warm friendly welcome and it wasn’t too busy when we arrived. I like how the place has been decorated. There’s plenty of choice for vegetarians, perhaps too much choice which means I will have to go back again to try the other dishes! The food not only looks amazing but tastes delicious! Exceeded my expectations!
