The Village Stores in Carmarthenshire

Great friendly village store, fresh coffee and bread in the morning and always a welcoming face. Always found what we needed, bacon, ham, cheese,eggs all at a reasonable price. Such a lovely friendly village.

The bistro pizza behind the shop is fantastic! Friday and sat evenings. Friendly staff, amazing food

Called into the shop for the first time in ages, lovely decor and a great range of homemade and local produce. The lady who served me (the owner I think) was lovely, very friendly and helpful, will definitely be a more frequent shopper.

I wish you good luck in your new venture.Pleasant little village store located within the main through street. Parking is limited on one side of the street. The product range is small as you would expect in a village store although there is the added benefit of the sub post office. The shop could do with refitting which would add to the customer experience as well as better merchandising. There are very odd opening times which I find very strange. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Having said the above comments we should try to support our local shops or they will be lost.

I don't like down scoring community projects as I appreciate people give their time and effort to keep a well needed community service going. However both times I've visited this shop I've come away empty handed as it is very poorly stocked even compared to similar size village stores. Seems well intentioned but not so practical.
