Really delicious food, decent portion sizes and good wine served at just the right temperature. The decor is also very tasteful and contemporary, with a relaxed cafe-style vibe. The prices were a little steep, but as it was the best meal I'd had outside of London, I felt it was worth it. Service was quick and efficient, but there was something supercilious about the guy's attitude that I found off-putting. A warmer, friendlier welcome wouldn't go amiss.

What a lovely meal we had tonight at The Warren!Everything was prepared wonderfully and the flavours were outstanding.Service was friendly, and they brought out a water fish for our dog (yes, it's dog friendly!). My wife enjoyed the gin specials while my Stroud Brewery beer was great. The use of local produce was good to see.Highly recommended!

Very homely, cosy and down to earth place filled with house plants and decorated in quite a rustic and earthy way. This personality was reflected in the food, serving organic produce with wild flowers and it seems a lot of their food is sourced locally.I had a pork belly starter, which as a pork belly connoisseur, I can confirm - was delicious. I then had pan fried hake, salsa verde, with a cauliflower puree, which was seasoned well and had plenty of interesting flavours. It was also plated very elegantly. With hardly any room to spare, I had a chocolate mousse, which I believe was an orange flavour with pistachio. This wasn't too heavy or rich and was a great way to end the meal. The waitress who mostly served us was very enthusiastic and had a very nice energy. She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and it felt like she really enjoyed her job, which is lovely.I would suggest this place to anyone who knows/enjoys food and wants a warm, relaxed and down to earth atmosphere. I will be back.

We had an absolutely delicious lunch here. I had the grazing platter, and the fish cake was perfect. The surprise was how good and tender and tasty the pork belly was. Usually I'm not a fan. The beetroot was particularly tasty as well. The service is great and the place is completely without pretense, though for a meal this good I'd forgive them if they bragged a bit. Our lunch came in the middle of a week at the beach, eating standard beach fare, and it sure was nice to take it up a notch for a change. More like a couple of notches.

In a quiet Carmarthen side street is this absolutely wonderful restaurant. We were a table of 12 guests at The Warren today, a happy get-together of female friends, many of whom have extensive experience of eating out all over the UK and abroad. Today’s food and service were truly exceptional in all respects. The Warren stands out with its winning combination of quality food, fully-committed and knowledgeable staff and a warm, comfortable and welcoming environment.

Love, love, love The Warren! Consistently superb food/drinks using mostly local and organic ingredients. Especially great for veggie/vegan options. Friendly owners and staff. Cosy atmosphere. 100% recommend.

Amazing vegan options, the food was delicious! Genuinely some of the best food I've had all year. I highly approve of the squash risotto and the beetroot hummus. The vegan pumpkin spice cheesecake was heaven, too. The wait staff were very attentive and friendly, and gave great recommendations and advice. I will definitely by coming back here, and recommending the restaurant to everyone I know. Pictures of the squash risotto and beetroot hummus with garlic bread, and the vegan grazing board.

Visited this restaurant today for brunch while we were in Carmarthen for a meditation break. We were especially looking for a place to have a decent vegan meal as we were visiting the ashram nearby. Was pleasantly surprised with the options available on their lunch/brunch menu. All ingredients seems to be locally sourced and this info is available at the entrance. The food was delicious and myself being a carnivore didn't have any complaints (I am a serial complainer when it comes to my food).Very happy with the service and customisations allowed as my wife has many allergies. The prices are very reasonable given the service, the well maintained place and the tasty vegan food. Highly recommended!

We went for Sunday lunch and it was the best Sunday lunch I've ever tasted - we had pork roast and Dinefwr venison roast (the meat was really tender with tasty sides and great to see local produce on the menu) followed by the frangipane tart and the melt in the mouth chocolate nemesis😋

Went here for Sunday lunch today because I’d heard good things. Everything was excellent, seasonal and fresh. I had the vegan roast and it was amazing, so tasty! Wish there was a little more gravy but no biggy. Usually places just remove any non-vegan stuff like cauliflower cheese but they made a little dish for me which was nice. Also the soup of the day was delicious! I’ll definitely be coming back to try their breakfast or a la carte menu. Service was great too.
