Great family run Pub with Amazing home cooked food, well worth a visit!

Absolutely fantastic, plentiful amounts of food, helpful staff and a friendly Japanese Akita, ordered a meals (Mixed Grill, Chicken Platter, Chips and salad, chicken fillet with chips (starter) + Sweet potato fries) along with drinks for 5 people and it cost £80!!! (About £150 in other restaurants and inns) and it was extremely good, I would highly recommend people who are tempted to try it, to give it a go, albeit the bathrooms did stink a bit but it’s not a total issue, 5/5 for me and everyone who ate with me

We booked here for my daughters birthday after a day out, Sunday evening, we were a group of 10 people, staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived, the food was all home cooked and the portions were incredible!! All so fresh and sooooo yummy!!! Definitely found a local gem!!! We've recently moved to the area and this place will definitely be our new favourite to go!! And on our doorstep! Extremely reasonable in price! Thankyou for a wonderful evening!!

Lovely traditional village pub & very welcoming staff & landlady. First class meal & plenty of it at a very reasonable price. Nice garden & plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend a visit. Drinks well priced too.

incredible food, massive portions (you won't leave hungry). Lovely family run pub, felt very welcome and everyone in there was so chatty. Great value for money, best meal I've had in a pub for years on end! If I lived closer id be back very very soon. My mother is a very lucky eater and she ate more than I did of the big pie! Something for everyone here
