Wonderfully welcoming! Fresh homemade chips were a bonus!

We called in after visiting some local CADW sites. It was a fairly basic menu but rather fancied the cooked breakfast, so ordered the Lion and Cub versions.It took a while to be cooked but was worth the wait; but what a lot of food and it was delicious. We didn't touch the bread and butter that came with it as we were pretty full ... nor could we manage a dessert.The place was good, local customers and landlord very chatty & engaging and thoroughly enjoyable food ... what's not to love? Comes hightly recommended and we look forward to returning.

The white lion is family run and you could not wish better people the food is exceptional most enjoyable relaxed atmosphere nothing is too much bother

Really good old school pub. Great value food that really hit the spot.We went when there was a rugby international on, even so we had no problem finding a spot to eat.Staff are really friendly and helpful.There should be more places like this around.
