Tir-y-dail Chinese takeaway in Carmarthenshire

Tried it last month for the first time. It was a really good Chinese takeaway and we've been back since. Only slight negative is that they don't do Crispy Aromatic Duck!

The Chinese meal we collect on Saturday was like DOG FOOD Totally disgusted and waste of time and money will never use again. 👎👎👎🤬👎👎👎Avoid don't waste your money...

If you want to spend your entire evening waiting for a takeaway, this is the place to go. Upon phoning, I was told that the food would be ready in 2 hours. Arriving on time, I was made to wait a further 45 minutes (this is not the first time for this to have happened to myself and others). It’s great to see the business doing well but the lack of respect and consideration to customers is unacceptable.

Very poor service, called to order, told it would be over an hour, when we went collect told they were running 20 minuets late. No way it takes nearly hour and half to cook a simple meal, plenty of other Chinese takeaways to use.

Would highly recommend. The crispy beef, sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style and chicken with ginger and spring onion was amazing!

Our favourite Chinese, we've had consistently good food here. Always get plenty for your money. Particularly recommend the set meals, but we've found that the set meal for 2 is enough for 3 and the meal for 4 could probably comfortably serve 6! We've only ever collected but have never had to wait too long. Wait is longer on Friday and Saturday night as it does get busy so recommend ordering early then.Worth knowing that they only take cash.

This is my partners favourite Chinese takeaway, you know how it is, you grow very fond of your own local restaurants, so nothing else really comes close, however, I am pleased to say, that having eaten from Tirydail a few times now, the food is really growing on me, especially surprising are the chips, the best I've ever eaten from a Chinese,

The food here is always 5 star. Best Chinese takeaway in the area. Only downside is there can be a bit of a wait... But it's worth it all day long.

Tirydail takeaway has been THE greatest chippy/ chinese in Ammanfords history. For decades I've been a regular on the weekends and although it's now changed hands to the younger generation they still uphold the quality of the old hands from " back in the day".It's not the fanciest, most fashionable or bling (it's a thing the kids say that means good apparently) place in the world but the food is sublime! It doesn't cost the earth either and the portions are really good, I'm no fatty and find a portion between two is just enough but even the biggest eaters will struggle a full dish and rice. I'd make a comparison to some other takeaway with regards to price or taste but quite frankly if you're thinking of going elsewhere then you have no taste buds, just head out the garden and chew on some bushes or something.If you like your face and making it smile then tirydail is the place to go. I've literally just finished a plate of chilli chicken, rice and chips while writing this and I'm so happy I don't care how sticky my phone screen is!!EMERGENCY EDIT! I forgot to mention the curry sauce, it's like liquid heaven!

Been calling into this fabulous gem of a Chinese plus fish and chips takeaway for the best part of 20 years.Amazing food, good portion size, reasonably priced delicious food. Expect to wait between 30-40 mins as it's so popular. Staff are always courteous,love it.
