Brilliant: pub, location, welcome, beer, food, fire, music. Dog and cyclist friendly. Coffee and cake too. What a fantastically lovely place.

Complete chance encounter and what a find. Totally faultless especially the ambiance and charm. Sort of had an Aegean flavour to it as well which was an added bonus. Please go

Lovely pub with outside eating area and sunny riverside beer garden. Lovely views on the river. Nice to walk to from the Camping and Caravanning Club site at Rhandirmwyn. Friendly and welcoming staff. Menu fairly simple, but nice. Recommend

Charming rural inn with a unique atmosphere. The owners sense of humour is infectious, and the food was great, with the homemade coleslaw worth the visit by itself. A very enjoyable lunch in a quirky and unique place. Recommended refreshment stop on the way to Llyn Brianne.

Super friendly and welcoming, we visited years ago and was the first pub we went back to in the area. Also helpfull that the food is incredible.

Excellent pub in a beautiful part of Carmarthenshire. The food and beer is spot on,! Well done to the owners for putting up with the Muppet who described this place as "like a prison camp" . This person has obviously never had to try to hold together a business during a global pandemic !

Beer was good as was the overall service. Didn’t have a meal but what I saw looked delicious. Shame only open Friday to Sunday at this time but so are a lot of establishments. I understand why.Great Inn.

A truly fantastic visit, wonderful meal (sausage and mash best I've ever had - 3 unique sausage flavours and really rich gravy) and everything was homemade (chips etc.. even the tartar sauce my wife had with her scampi). Nick and Julie are a great team and instantly made us feel welcome. We really enjoyed the cosy atmosphere by the wood fire and look forward to returning this summer to appreciate the beautiful outdoor setting next to the river Towy.

Great beer and a very pleasant spot to sit outside on a sunny day, with nearby Llyn Brianne to visit. Friendly staff, watch out for opening and food times if you want lunch.
