West End Cafe in Carmarthenshire

Just had fish and chips. I had lovely chips and lots of batter that was supposed to be a fish. Not one bit of fish in the batter. Do not recommend.

Best Chipshop in Carmarthen by far! They are so consistent! Great food every single time I've been there, no exaggeration, and I've been there a fair few times. Every. Single. Time. It's been absolutely spot on. Fresh fish, perfect batter and the chips are lush. Cannot praise them enough 🤣

Ordered a takeaway, friendly and fast service. Did try and order online but didn't seem to work for me. Chips were delicious, and good portion size. Quality of the sides need to improve such as the sausage etc

West End is always our go to for take out. The food is always consistently excellent, they have a great variety of foods on offer at reasonable prices and the staff are always polite and friendly. I would highly recommend them!

Just finished Fish and Chips and I must say it was one of the memorable ones that will stick in your mind Fresh cooked fish and lovley sized chips. We are temporary visitors from Bristol

Ate in. Lovely fresh fish with a light batter. If two people are eating might I suggest you share a portion of chip's, they're huge. Friendly staff, it gets very busy so they hand out numbered tickets while you wait

Forget the food (best in town, hands down), Max and his team are the most compassionate, thoughtful folk you could meet - we need people like this in Wales.Back visiting sick relatives. I got distracted and left my phone there. While I spent 24 hours panicking, Max had already posted it online and had even gone to the trouble of getting our image off the security camera to help people recognize us.He refused any reward ' instead, offering me free food and drink for my onward journey. His kindness was overwhelming at a difficult time.And did I mention, their jumbo cod is to die for...

Popped in for some chicken with the partner since we were hungry. Excellent staff and they were lovely and friendly. Had some chicken strips, chicken popcorn and chicken nuggets with curry sauce. The chicken strips and popcorn were amazing and unprocessed as you could see the grain in the chicken meat. When paired with the curry sauce it was amazing as it wasn't too spicy for my sensitive taste but was just mild enough to enjoy. It had a nice combination an Indian curry flavor and a Chinese flavor which just made it pop. Loved it and will be back again soon.
