Hearty welcome, good honest grub.. a little gem found on the way across Wales heading for the ferry. Could have spent ages looking at all the memorabilia but ferries don't wait these days

Been there today for Christmas dinner I would like to thank all the staff for a lovely experience and an even better meal you should all be proud of yourselfs thank you for a wonderful Christmas Day we always have a wonderful experience every time we come to the pub hopefully you will be doing Christmas dinner again next year,I will see you then but we will be in before then for food as it’s to nice to resist

Our first visit for lovely lunch with friends. Excellent service & good food in an historic pub dating back centuries. So impressed we booked for Christmas Lunch.

Very good pub for Sunday lunch. Just off the M4. Interesting interior decoration everywhere. And pictures of Prince Charles at the pub! Good prices and good quality of food. Friendly staff. Parking at the front. Probably more popular with the older generations. Highly recommended.
