Y Felin Fish Bar in Carmarthenshire

***GO ELSEWHERE!***Bought 2 adult portions of fish & chips & 1 childrens portions of chips. The childrens chips were ok not brill but ok, but BOTH the adults chips were a DISGRACE! I don’t know how they had the nerve to sell them! EACH PORTION WERE TINY BITS OF SCRAP CHIPS, NOT 1 FULL CHIP TO BE SEEN. I will NEVER buy from this chippy ever again! WORST CHIPPY IN UK! Shame on you!

‘Large’ fish… questioned and said it goes on weight… I think you need to fix your scales. Horrendous portion for the cost. Will be avoiding!Update - ended up in the bin. Full of bones!

Ordered AND PAID FOR 2 pies and 2 chips, they forgot to put the pie in one of them and I didn't realise until I got home. Also woman gave shortchanged me by a tenner until I pointed it out. Won't be going back here!

15th August 2020 - we just had 2 lots of chips which were terrible, thinly cut, absolutely tasteless and seemed like cheap frozen chips. Most of them went in the bin and chips have to be bad for us to waste them. Won't be returning and certainly couldn't recommend.It seems this chip shop is under new ownership as they are also serving Doner Kebabs which I think they should stick to instead of serving inferior chips.

Excellent food especially the home made fish cakes. Really friendly customer service and competitive prices

Been 4 times, first time the potatoes for the chips were green (you can tell by the taste), didn't go back to tell them as we were miles away by then.The other times, they've been very nice to speak to and great food.Recommended.

I checked online yesterday and it was open till 9pm but when I went to go to the chip shop at about 3.30pm it was closed no notice on the door. Very disappointed they should checked there timings if they are going to close

Visited here past couple of years and find staff well presented, courteous and friendly.Always a good selection of food items and those on display always look fresh.Always busy, so chips and other items always piping hot, even by time I drive home.Late customers may be disappointed by choice, but for me this is a bonus as at least we can be guaranteed it's fresh

Fish bar ? Only have cod and then it's over cooked full of bones but chips are nice ish if you get them on a good day Staff with attitude unless you know them🤫🤔
