Nice place for a pint. Great prices as you'd expect.

Had a really good couple of visits here recently. I've visited for a drink and food after work with colleagues. Food is as you'd expect, cheap and cheerful. The service from the staff has always been excellent though. They're all riendly and efficient, a real benefit to their business.

Don't plan on eating there if you have toddler's who won't sit in one chair in same place for urgent hole duration. As the man will be rude and moan if your toddler breaths

Although environmentally friendly; could not understand staff competence, especially considering I had asked the bar manager (Louis) twice to attend to service! Notwithstanding, the restaurant was not busy at the time, nor catering for any events. The aforementioned treatment is unduly of any JD Wetherspoons I have ever attended, and, furthermore, I will not present myself to this establishment due to hereinbefore mentioned treatment. You get what you pay for, the Q code table order was surprisingly easy to use. Never had a bad steak in a Wetherspoons , no mushrooms on the plate last night though.

I love that wetherspoons have some really interesting old buildings to eat and drink in. Best choice of beers and food that doesn't hurt your pocket too much. The York Palace is a lovely old building, the staff are super friendly and nice too 💯

Had the jacket potato and roasted veg it was absolutely delicious. My mum had the same. Great value for money anx amazing service . Thankyou

Another Wetherspoons more, nothing special and quite busy. Tonight it was full of young and loud people that didnt let us enjoy of the dinner. However I liked the Wales special menu and the beef and ale pie! Very good prices and good food in general.
