Ystrad Nurseries in Carmarthenshire

We’ll that was embarrassing. We saw lamas and picnic tables as were about to go into nursery and decided to have our picnic there. A very angry member of staff came and told us to pack up immediately as private property and we couldn’t eat our own food there. We hadn’t noticed the sign on the i side of the fence as we were engrossed in our picnic and the animals. We started to pack up and she said we were rude to have our picnic there even though we explained we hadn’t seen sign. She wouldn’t let it drop. Despite my daughter asking her not to speak like that in front of her daughters. We were going to buy coffee cake and gifts. But too upset. I suggest a notice on outside of fence that can be seen before you enter saying patrons only. Please treat little children and customers with the kindness they deserve.

Lovely family run garden centr.. Have been and bought from there a few times. Prices very competitive. Even so have recomended where i work to buy a bench which was excilent quality..Plant also to high standard and coffee shop is really nice that we been a couple of times. As a local centrci wish them very best .

Excellent cafe, proper nice food. Easy free parking. Excellent selection of quality plants. Will visit again.

Had heard good. Reports of breakfast served here, unfortunately arrived too late . We were able to have egg, bacon, sausage roll. One member of our party is coeliac and lactose intolerant, she asked for scrambled egg with a Gluten free roll. We found attitude of one member of cafe staff quite rude.

Very nice place. Bought some really good plants. Great cafe good for a quick snack. Will pop in again when down that way.

As always, lovely friendly staff, lots of gorgeous plants . The cafe has great food including gluten free rolls and cake😊A nice oasis on your travels.

1st time called in today, had a lovely sausage bacon egg and roll. Tea was a bit milky but no problem when i asked for another teabag.Also found this is the only place in Wales where you can grow your own Alpaca-in-a-Pot.😀Will be making this a regular stop on my way to Pembrokeshire

An excellent selection of plants and shrubs. Just a little bit on the pricey side. Visited quite a few between Llandovery and Llanelli and this was hands down the best stocked and good quality.
