Most miserable waiter ever. No beer glass offered only wine glass. Chicken Tikka sauce horridly sweet. They brought the bill before we could ask for a sweet or coffee making us feel unwelcome. Better views downstairs but wasn't given the option. 1 star as one meal out of 2 was ok. Wouldn't go again

It's a beautiful little restaurant with amazing views and food!Although...The food was a little pricey for its portions. We were a group of 7 and we had 2 kids who were really hungry so decided to get them some mains and some light sides for the rest of us. However, (I don't know if it is normal but I've never heard of this rule ever) the waiter said that we HAD TO order 5 mains because we were a group of 7. Just a heads up if you are from our of town!We did enjoy the food quite a bit. But it was a tad bit expensive. The service was good.

We had a really excellent takeaway from Bay of Bengal. We've eaten here previously a few years ago and found it to be reasonably good, but the food today was a step up; great quality and good portions. We'll definitely be back!

The young waiter and waitress very polite and nice. The asian man really needs to work on smiling! Food very over priced espeically for what you get. Kids meal chicken nuggents and chips, the nuggents clearly frozen cheap...daughter hated it. Would I go back...not a chance!

Myself and my wife ate thereSaturday night. Poppadoms were great but pickle tray was poor. All are mains and sundries were spot on and served hot and quickly. This could have been 5 stars if the pickle tray was of better portions and with more variety. Also manager was so grumpy and ignorant he dampened the whole experience, which was a pity as rest of the staff were brilliant.

5 ate here, 5 had tummy ache. We all had something different off the menu. I would describe myself a good judge of Indian restaurants this was the worst in my 65 years. Food was overly curried hot and spicied and salted I believe to disguise. Manager/Owner rude and disinterested moment we walked in. The bill was a terrible shock too. I never take the time to review normally but dont want anyone else's holiday to be ruined.

So glad that 2 other places we'd walked past were closed (Tue 1st Dec) as we really enjoyed our food and were warmly greeted by Rhys. Missus said it was the best Biryani she'd ever had, my Special Tandoori Bhuna was amazing too. Well done chef & Rhys πππ
