Fourteen of us on a walking weekend dined in the Baytree over 2 evenings. Having been here many times previously we had always had a wonderful experience. It was an obvious choice for us again. All of the staff were friendly, professional and highly attentive to our every need, nothing was too much trouble. The surroundings were just perfect for us, relaxed and plenty of room. Food was exceptional, every meal was delicious, perfectly cooked and presented, we really did dine in style. The Baytree is highly recommended and has to be your first choice in Tenby.Thank you Karen and your staff for everything, you all rally made our weekend in the sun complete.

The staff are amazing and so friendly!! We had a reservation booked at 8 and because of traffic we were late and after calling the restaurant and telling them we had a lovely lady at the other end telling us not to worry get there when we can and to drive safe! Not just looking after us when we eventually got there but before we even arrived! The food was well worth the drive as well, it was amazing!

Decided to go to this place for the last dinner at Tenby. Was a quiet night the way I like it. The décor and ambience were simple but classy. The service was good and amazing waitress who was friendly and gave us a nice insight into Tenby’s restaurant industry. The food was great. Had the famous Welsh lamb and it was from a local family butcher in Tenby. The quality was superb. Well cooked, soft, and melt in your mouth lamb. What can go wrong. Will visit here if I go again to Tenby (highly likely).

Mussels were cold and had to reheat, one turned bad. The Cawl soup and Cod fish was tasteless. disappointed to go to a restaurant with high rating just to have low quality food. The drinks and services were alright.

An absolute must if you visit Tenby, though I would advise to book in advance, as it appears to be very popular, even in January. We booked following a friends recommendation, & was very pleased we did. My other half had 3 King prawns with sweet chilli to start, followed by the fillet steak which was perfectly cooked medium rare as requested. The parsnip mash base & the parsnip crispy ribbons on top were really tasty, & he would highly recommend upgrading the boiled potatoes (or chips) to the cheesy garlic ones, & along with the mixed veg, they really complimented the meal. To start, I had the homemade pate with the homemade onion relish. The salad was crispy, with a very pleasant & light dressing. My main meal arrived on a long thin plate, & consisted of 8 massive shell on King prawns, with salad & crusty bread. Chips accompanied the meal, but were hardly necessary, as the meal itself was quite filling. There was a good selection of desserts, drinks & coffees too & reasonably priced. I had a cheesecake & my other half had a Remy Martin brandy to finish the lovely meal. The restaurant is family run, & you can read about how they source the meats, fish & seafood on the menu, demonstrating how they support local businesses in the area too. The service was excellent, despite being very busy. Our only criticism (though not really an issue, & didn't spoil our experience), was during dining, there was a good singer/guitarist playing, but he was quite loud, & initially played quite lively songs, so we were glad we weren't sitting near him. Something more chilled would've been a bit more appropriate for the venue. We'd highly recommend The Baytree & we'll definitely be returning when in Tenby next. Thank you for a fab evening xx

Went there for dinner. The place is nice with live music playing. Our waitress was very cheerful and helpful. We ordered the vegan chickpea curry and the pad Thai. Both the dishes were too sweet to our liking and felt like we were having desserts as our mains. Ordered the bruschetta as a starter and was ok.If you are a vegetarian I wouldn't recommend this place at all

Really liked this place. Was close to the town center and offers fresh mussels. We all had mussels, four of us. The sauce was extra creamy but not heavy, with a pinch of herbal tastes, definitely brought the dish additional layer of fulfilment. Most satisfying meal for the whole trip. Lovely staff as well! Highly recommended.

A friendly atmosphere with lovely staff who are helpful. Place was clean and didn't smell of stale beer as some other pubs and bistros around that area smelt of. A range of food on the menu to choose from catering for both meat eaters and vegetarians. Had the veggie burger and beer battered cod and chips. Both tasted good and a great find in the location of Tenby for a quick impromptu lunch spot.

We had such a nice evening here.Booked a table far in advance due to popularity and the reputation was spot on - friendly and helpful staff, amazing food and a calm atmosphere perfect for a ‘date night’.I ordered the pâté, the lamb rump and then the chocolate fudge cake. Each course was perfect and you could tell had been properly thought out and the best ingredients sought. My partner had a salad for starters; chicken with bacon, leeks and cheese for mains; and chocolate and orange torte for pudding - she also loved all courses. It was so good we’ve booked again for the end of the week before our holiday ends!
