Block&Barrel in Pembrokeshire

Had a very delicious roast dinner here with my family on a trip from London.Lamb and beef cooked beautifully, great selection of vegetables and yummy gravy!Cocktails and draft larger/ale also stunning.Friendly welcoming staff.Great value for money. Highly recommend

I ordered a medium sirloin steak with dauphinois potatoes unfortunately my steak was over cooked and the dauphinois was swimming in oil/butter I asked the waiter if I could have the steak re cooked and the dauphinois replaced with chips he took my plate away then came back with the same plate and told me the chef said the steak is cooked correctly and that’s how dauphinois can be sometimes.This is not what I was expecting concerning I was paying £25 for my mealI have been a chef for 20 years so have experience in how to cook steaks and dauphinois potatoesThis is not the type of service I would expect

Our order was incorrectly delivered last night, but without any problems at all the block and barrel express sent the correct order out to us at no charge. Very happy with the service and the food

Service was poor , the lady serving was not very welcoming.There were no gluten free options.The quality of the food was ok, portion size was fair , price was average

very friendly service and amazing food me and the mrs had the welshire burger and cherif burger and they were stunning, definitely coming back

Staff were really friendly and accommodating of our large family. The food was excellent, the toilets were clean, and the value was exceptional. Starters and kids meals were served very quickly, the mains were a tiny bit slow but this is to be expected now during staff shortages.

Bad service! Went for a meal there with the mrs. Was moved table as was told new boy had started and shouldn't of sat us at the table we were sat on so we had to move to a table right in front of a speaker as a band was playing there so couldn't even talk to my partner. they forgot 1 of our starters. Wasnt even that bizzy. We cancelled main order as not happy by this point. Wont be going there again.

Absolutely Amazing!! The steak was out of this world! Choose your steak and let the chef's choose how it should be cooked , you will not be disappointed , we both had the T bone with garlic butter! The girls serving are lovely , and really helpful. Can't wait to come back the next time we are in west Wales!
