Blue Ball Restaurant in Pembrokeshire

Very good food! 1 issue the portions were too big (I suppose not an issue for most people😉). Staff are really chatty and amiable, though a little run off their feet the first night we were there. The pick of the restaurants in the area.

Just fantastic. Made a fuss of my daughter for her birthday so they were off to a flyer but the food and service was first class. Cannot recommend highly enough and we will definitely be back

Had a fantastic meal here last weekend, my prawns were incredible, and the melted Brie my son toldMe was the best he ever had! Filet steak was delicious and what a sauce so smooth and rich. We went on a recommendation but will return next time we’re in Tenby. Thanks everyone for making it a extra special weekend.

Decided to try this place based on the good reviews and was unfortunately bitterly disappointed. Staff were nice enough and the service was fine, but the food was sub-par. On a rather small menu, 2 of the dishes we wanted weren't available; this was relatively early in the evening. Chose to have the monkfish in lobster bisque from the specials menu, monkfish was okay but the bisque was tasteless with nothing else to accompany it. My partner had the chicken, which was also poor. To top it off we ordered the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and the toffee sauce had been burnt.

One of the best meals I have ever had! Lovely, cosy atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff that made sure we were happy with everything. Food was delicious and only wish I had left some space for desserts. Strongly recommend!

Cannot recommend this place enough! My wife and I went for an anniversary meal and it was an absolute treat. Polite and attentive owners/staff, nice ambience (up-market but casual at the same time), excellent food and nice selection of drinks. My wife's vegetarian/vegan friendly meal was excellent and bursting with flavour while my moules frites were cooked well. Would definitely recommend leaving room for the desserts, the options were plentiful and so tempting. (we shared a Pashka and a chocolate parfait.....wow!). The Blue Ball will be top of our list when we re-visit Tenby.

This is my favourite restaurant ..............it's amazing the food is outstanding.. and the staff are amazing they carnt do a nuff for you.. when I'm back in Tenby I will definitely be eating back here ...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Holiday to Tenby always includes a visit to our favourite restaurant The Blue Ball. Always met with a friendly smile and welcome from the wonderful staff who are very experienced in running a restaurant. Food is always delicious and although a simple menu this means the food is always cooked to such high standards. The children's menu is just as amazing with both our 7 and 9 year old finding lots to choose from and announcing "This is the best food".We shall return and thank you for an enjoyable evening.

From the minute we walked in, we were welcomed very warmly which was a massive change in comparison to other restaurants in Tenby. The waitresses were so patient with us when choosing our drinks and meals and everything arrived very promptly. It had such a relaxed atmosphere! Our food was stunning and some of the best food we’d all ever eaten, with the hake and chips, pork belly and burger. The flavours were all extremely complimentary of each other and so well cooked - hats off to the chefs! We then tried the Toffoc Vodka which was amazing as well as the apple meringue and the pashka which again were absolutely beautiful. Definitely would recommend booking as so so popular. Can’t wait to come here again on our next holiday!

Loved the Blue Ball, its lovely and rustic inside with original beams and beautiful ceiling lights. Covid safety was spot on. Staff were really wonderful and friendly. Food...well what can I say! We started with pate that came with the most amazing beetroot & orange chutney...I could have eaten that on its own! We both opted for the beef brisket roast dinner and every thing was cooked perfectly. We both cleared the plate and then I somehow managed to fit a rhubarb crumble in too! All cooked fresh with local ingredients. You can tell its prepared with love and I would absolutely recommend. Check the website for current booking protocols as I know they are very busy and you will need to book for weekends etc.
