Lovely welcome for a weary walker. A cuppa and a Welshcake in the beautiful garden. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. I would highly recommend this family run guest house.

Cnapan Bed and Breakfast is truly a Jewel in the heart of Newport, Pembrokeshire. Mike and Judith were so friendly and welcoming, their home was beautiful and cosy and as an 80th birthday celebration for my mum offered absolutely everything we could want and more. Spotless accommodation, lovely breakfast, beautiful surroundings, we would most definitely return.

What a fantastic place. Had a long weekend break re-exploring the Wales of my childhood. Set off every day fortified with one of Mike and Judi’s fantastic breakfasts. The bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. The en-suite was well appointed and the shower was quick to give hot water. Ideally located in the town near to the shops and restaurants (only 1-2 min walk). Although the weather was not the best (storm Alex was battering Wales at the time), Judi’s advise directed us to a wonderful working woollen mill (Melin Tregwynt) we could enjoy without getting wet. Would definitely go back to Cnapan for another stay. Oh and very well organised with regards Covid awareness, breakfast tables separated out into different rooms and assigned to each quest so you have the same table. No

Superb! This is a special guest house owned & run by 3 generations of the same family. They are friendly & efficient ensuring everything is perfect. I took my 91 year old mother to stay for a few days and we had a fabulous time. The guest house is right in Newport close to shops & restaurants, not far from the beach with a beautiful garden & lounge for relaxing. If you ever get the chance to stay then take it!

Lovely and friendly warm welcome from owner Judy and Mike ! nice and clean room been makeup everyday ! Freshly cook breakfast every morning , Big garden to sit and relax , Free car park and WiFi really comfortable! Worth the money And well recommended

It ist a really beautiful place to stay. We have enjoyed the few days very, very much. The welcome was very friendly, the rooms are fantastic, the breakfast leaved no wish unfulfilled and the weather was so nice, so we could sit in the very big and beautiful garden. Beautiful guest house in the sleepy village of Newport. Modern bedrooms with an airy breakfast room and expertly cooked breakfast including home made jams and yoghurt.

Very pleasant accommodation; excellent breakfast. Evening meals discontinued, but very good meals to be found in village, e.g. Golden Lion pub 200 yards away. Kind friendly staff. Delightful.
