Holiday in area, noticed it was popular, so popped in for an evening meal and drinks. Food nice and tasty. Staff friendly.

·

Ordered two meals and they were both wrong. Had to go to the bar to ask for the things that had been left off and wasn't given an apology. Overpriced and average food.

·

Disappointed that we were charged £2.50 for cans of coke that had 85p printed on them. Food was nice but left with the feeling of being ripped off.

Stopped here for lunch with the grandchildren. They had a good selection from which the grandchildren could choose. They chose the chicken chunks with chips and scampi with chips and peas. When the servings arrived, the portions where extremely generous. None of the grandchildren could finish the delicious food they were enjoying. The delicious adult servings were equally generous. Although it did a few extra minutes for the food to arrive, it was piping hot. The service was spot on and following up to ensure that we were satisfied with our experience.I would highly recommend this as an excellent place to enjoy a wonderful meal. The picture shows the Duke Salad and the other shows the Cheesy Garlic Bread.

A group of 8 people had a meal in the above hostelry, with drinks. The following eve went for drinks. On both occasions were ushered out well before closing time, before we had finished our drinks, as it seemed the staff wanted to go home early! Not a good impression. Never been told to leave a pub early before. Didn’t even make it to 10pm!

Better take out a mortgage before eating here. Ham, Egg and chips is £16. 3 baguettes with 2 sides of chips and 3 pints was £49.75!

·

Didn't stay here but called in for coffee which was a rip off!!! £3.75 for latte which was like watered down milk. Won't call again!

The Duke arranged a Sunday morning breakfast for 34 people from our touring Harbury under 15s rugby team. Easy to deal with up-front, everything was ready when we arrived, and the full English breakfast was just what was required. Nothing to complain about.

·

Total rip off and I feel for the locals, prices on drinks are what you pay inside the M25.Larger £5.50 double g&t £10.25, im well traveled and this is a total rip off I felt ashamed being Welsh and our English friends where all chatting about the cost.Food was good but again 20% over priced, the owner seems to want to rip off people

Stayed here for a weekend brake even though the rooms are separate from the pub. Had two meals in the pub food was fantastic and the staff were so friendly and it's dog friendly another reason we picked there as we had our dog with us. Well recommend a visit.
