Giltar Hotel Restaurant in Pembrokeshire

Just had a superb roast dinner at The Giltar Hotel the best I have had in a long time. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back when I am in Tenby again.

First stay at the Giltar after years of staying in other establishments in Tenby and booked to return whilst staying there! Very nice hotel,clean,inviting,upgraded rooms with pleasant friendly staff who were so accommodating and helpful throughout. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We had our wedding here and it was beautiful. Staff were amazing. Food was amazing, rooms were amazing. Wish I could do it all again! Couldn’t have asked for better! Thank you again for helping us enjoy our day. We will definitely be back.Meg & Chris

I had the very great pleasure to stay at 'The Giltar' in Tenby, for 4 nights. The Food was excellent, the room was not 'posh' but it was lovely, clean, had all I needed and was kept that way everyday with new towels, good housekeeping etc.The staff were so accommodating and friendly, I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone who asked me. It was a cracking view to the front, but as I had a single room and it was a spur of the moment trip, my room was at the back..I didn't mind one bit, there was so much to see and do in Tenby, and the exercise every day, walking into the town centre, was what I needed to work off not only the fabulous cooked Breakfast, but also the Evening Meals.. Cracking selection, cooked to perfection.My heartiest thanks to everyone there, who made my stay memorable and happy.

All good except room was small, even though we had booked a superior room. Sea view from window was fabulous though. The website stated that superior rooms had recently been refurbished . Ours hadn't. Super breakfasts and friendly efficient staff.

On our way home after a lovely 4 night stay with parents who had the superior room st Catherine.Staff are really helpful and work hard for their customers.would definitely recommend this hotel.Julie

Very nice we had breakfast delivered to our room because of COVID,no sea view though. Staff were friendly. Bathroom fine except for entrance , I kept catching my foot on protrusion by the door.

Lovely warm comfy room excellent staff especially the reception team all great knowledgeable and helpful.The hotel is clean and have spent a lot of time and money on the refurbishment great location over looking south beach very relaxing stay .

Lovely hotel and the breakfast was beautiful. All the staff were lovely apart from I'm assuming the owner, his attitude absolutely stank and he spoke to us and his staff in a disgusting manner, very unprofessional. This has made my mind up not to return to this hotel in the future.
