Lovely food. Great service. Lovely choice of beers. Really enjoyed.

A great place to while away a few hours until you have to go home! After the Carten100 cycle ride the previous day, my mate and me had several hours before the 7.30pm train out of Tenby. Arriving about 11am, we made it our home and checked the quality of a number of Madri beers. I'm pleased to report they were all of the highest standard. Soon we became hungry and ordered fish and chips and hankered for curry sauce to go with it. Our wish was granted and the resulting meal was superb. I'll definitely be back for more of the same as it was absolutely delicious!

We found the food price, portion size and flavour great.....would definitely recommend and we will visit again if in Tenby 👍🤗

This is a very busy pub we visited it on a Thursday lunchtime and it was very full. Large menu with lots of different fish items on the menu. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly. They also have real ales from a local brewery called Harbwr but was unable to try these as I was duty driver. I had the cod and chips which was really nice with the cod being on the bigger side. Well worth a look if you are in the area.

This is a definite place to go when in Tenby. After checking in late, decided to go and find a place to eat. Ended up here after hearing about it and also after seeing it was open with lovely ambience and character. Wasn’t sure what to expect but ended up ordering the special – mackerel grill with potatoes and shell on prawns with chips. What a great quality and selection. Fantastic food, great taste and the freshness of the ingredients simply a great combination. The service was superb and the food oh cant still stop thinking about it. Absolutely worth the visit.

Wanted fresh fish and this place never disappoints. My partner had mackerel and I had fish pie, we shared a plate of whole prawns. And it was delicious. Highly recommended if you visit Tenby. We love the Hope & Anchor. Can't wait to eat there again. Staff are lovely too.

Very friendly staff - nice atmosphere, fish pie was very tasty and packed with fish. Only gave 4 stars as no desserts on the menu and coffee machine was broken

Having tried to book any restaurant on quite possibly the busiest Saturday I've seen in Tenby, we tried here. Although we went early we were told by the lovely owner, sorry we didn't catch his name but hope he had a well deserved day off, that we couldn't book but try early evening. We did try around 5:30pm but it was full so went for a drink and returned half an hour later to grab a table. The waitress was fabulous and friendly, in fact all staff were here. I shared a whole lobster with a friend as they had run out of halves and the other members had fresh mackerel, seriously great food! The lobster was the nicest food I've had out in such a long time, the girls said the same about theirs. A bottle of prosecco was so reasonable, as was the whole bill. Really clean facilities and I noticed that families were in there having a lovely time, so I'd say definitely child friendly. 100% worth a visit when you're in Tenby, I can't wait to go back!!

Food was amazing. The staff did an brilliant job and got us seated right away. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was fantastic when we got it. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the town
