Llys Meddyg in Pembrokeshire

For the restaurant, 5 plus stars, great sitting outside in the garden, food was the best we have eaten in Wales and the service was fabulous. I thought the wine and cocktail lists were great.Loved it!!

A group of us went just for a meal in the restaurant. A superb evening. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was very friendly and prompt. Highly recommend.

My husband and I got married at Llys Meddyg in March, 2022 and it was such an incredible experience. Cecilia was a pleasure to work with and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was fantastic (as always!) and all the staff were lovely. We had a very small wedding so all of our guests were able to stay in the hotel for the night and we were all made to feel welcome and relaxed during the entire stay. None of us wanted to leave the next day! The building, rooms and grounds are all stunning and our photos turned out absolutely beautiful as a result. I cannot recommend Llys Meddyg enough for anyone looking for a perfect wedding venue, a lovely place to stay or even just a place to have a truly delicious and memorable meal. It will always hold a very special place in our hearts.

Visited here last night, had some drinks in the cellar bar to start. Lovely atmosphere and some fantastic cocktails. Following this had some food in the restaurant, which I can't recommend enough two fantastic vegan dishes. My partner had the Cod and raved about it as well. Lovely atmosphere and lovely staff as well. Would definitely recommend a visit

From the moment we arrived we were treated like regular visitors. The staff were so friendly and efficient . The garden so beautifully set up ( you can turn the overhead heating down if you find it a little warm/bright) but the food…….. just so lovely. Especially the salmon. Lovely and memorable evening - great vino too! Thank you very much xx

Restaurant review: We went for an evening meal to celebrate a birthday and booked a pod in the 'Kitchen Garden'. From the moment we arrived and were promptly guided to our pod, there was not much that could have been done better. The staff were friendly and efficient - nothing was too much trouble. Our pod would have accommodated 8 easily and 10 at a push (but other pod may have had different capacities). The ambiance was perfect - the vegetable garden looked like it was kept by an enthusiast and gave the vista from the pods, each well separated from the next and with adjustable overhead radiant heating. The food itself was interesting and delicious - EVERY part of every dish (starters and mains) was perfectly done, to the point where everyone tried everyone else's plates, and pretty much every morsel of food was eaten. The food was better than the Michelin star restaurant down the road from us (and that is quite a complement). We had pre-agreed to bring our own birthday cake which the staff were happy to present to the table having already lit the candles. I have to say a big thanks to the several staff of the Llys Meddyg restaurant for making it feel like a special occasion. We booked about 2 weeks ahead and the Llys Meddyg were very prompt to respond to each step of the email exchange, though I'm sure phoning up would have worked as well. I think every member of our party would have given it a 10/10 for an experience.

Such a great venue which is constantly evolving and trying new things while still able to keep a unique and special feel. I have been here to eat many times over the past 10 years and the food is on a par with any top end London restaurant. The wines are good too and staff can help with food pairing if you are that way inclined. Stayed in the house twice over the years and the bedrooms are cosy, comfy and warm even in the depths of winter. The new heated garden cabins are a great innovation and have added intimate cosy spaces to dine in. Always look forward to visiting to see what’s new to see eat and drink.

I stayed at Llys Meddyg for a wedding weekend and everything was perfect. The room was large, well equipped and the beds were by far the comfiest I've ever slept on! The staff were super friendly and always happy to help and finally the food. The food was so fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend the salmon, which is smoked on site and try a few of the different breakfast dishes which are all fresh and full of flavour... I will definitely be returning in the near future! Thanks for a wonderful weekend

Both the management and all staff were unfailingly friendly and helpful. We found the management very accommodating and kind.The food is absolutely excellent at dinner and breakfast, whatever dishes were chosen. I’d perhaps suggest that a second or even a third vegan option might be a nice addition to the evening menu.A brilliant spot - we will be returning!
