Had food here and it was nice. We had it out in the beer garden. Nice staff. Was dark in the pub and the beer wasn't pulled through properly before I drank my pint which was disgusting. He pulled some off and the pint was good. Easy mistake to make.My gammon was undercooked in the thickest part yet they took it back and cooked it more for me with no hassle. Came back better. Tasted great, chips were oven chips but were cooked almost perfectly. My wife's lasagne was really nice. Kids pizza and sausages were good too. We'd go back again. And we are fussy.

Very disappointing Sunday lunch last week. Nothing fresh, pressed beef, tinned carrots, frozen roasties and 'smash' mashed potatoes, very little portions of frozen veg £12.95. Not worth £5! Will not be returning

Lovely, spacious, dog friendly country pub. Menu has quite a few options, the vegetarian options were good and well portioned. Staff seemed all quite young but did a good job all around! Recommend stoping over if you're in the area.

Friendly service, delicious food, lots of gluten free options, and lovely beer garden. Would definitely visit again!

Had Sunday lunch here with family very disappointing. We have been here a few times over the years and was very good with great service. However this time was awful all shop packet food re heated very small potions of veg and cold plates. Poor value for money . Place also needs a good clean sticky tables ,food splatters on walls ,toilets and entrance to them disgusting carpet is black. Will not be returning.

Dropped in for lunch after walking the coastal path. Found the staff all very welcoming and friendly. The food was quick to arrive and there was plenty of it, especially good pub chips.Suprised by other recent reviews. Yes parts of the place are a bit shabby and the skip half full of empty bottles at the entrance does not give great 'kerb appeal' but the service and food was great.Thank you

First time going but won’t be returning anytime soon. Ordered garlic mushrooms for starters which were delicious. Main course was burgers. They were wafer thin kebab shop frozen style burgers, asked for mayonnaise and was told had run out. Generous portion of the fries however. Table and menu sticky. Cobwebs everywhere which had so much dust on them they had been there a while. Carpet downstairs to the toilets was disgusting. Sticky and worn. Had those meals and two pints of Carling, came to £45 roughly. A total disappointment and rip off. Could have got better at the co-op and cooked it ourselves.

Food was great but steak served in a pizza box? With a wooden knife and fork? You can imagine the carnage that occured! Bits of wet cardboard mixed in with peas, creamy peppercorn sauce all over a nice piece of steak!Anyway, we went back a few days later and we're back on plates! Peppercorn sauce made with actual cream!

Tried this pub whilst on holiday and liked it that much we went back 2 days later. Food is realy good staff are very freindly and helpfull. Both my kids commented on how nice there lasagne was and cleared there plates which is rare. I had the steak followed by an icecream sunday. My partner loved her meals to. Would definatly return if in the area again
