Mr.Wong fish bar and chinese takeaway in Pembrokeshire

decided to try as a last minute alternative to cooking this evening, person i spoke to on the phone was friendly as was the delivery person. order arrived much sooner than expected, food was great. will definitely be ordering again.

Notice most negative remarks are about english dishes or prioritizing local numbers that order every month and save into their phone as know both my address and name now.As a chef i'll tell you this walk in's aren't your money makers, and if going to order a cuisine takeaway, order a dish from that country.Honestly This place deserves much higher rating than its got, despite not looking great on the outside like most of hwest (lets be fair) the food is outstanding everytime! Food is always perfect. Been ordering food from here for over 10 years. I have never had a bad meal from here 10 out of 10.

Waiting over hour and half for food and when called to find out where food was, the lady just laughed. Never again!!!!!

I ordered via their website and was very impressed that my food was ready for collection when I arrived. The chips were nice and are clearly not usual takeaway chips as they cook their own. The chicken balls were nice in size and not greasy. Chicken chow mein was lovely also, onions cooked to perfection and the chicken was nice and tender. Staff were very friendly and made me feel that my custom was valued.

Stopped off for some fish and chips on the way back to our holiday lodge. Despite being at the till, each time a call came in, the call took priority, so waited for a few minutes just to have our order taken. Really nice fish, but the chips tasted like they’d been cooked 4 times already and left to dry and go cold out each time. Not the best by a long way!

Food was not good, no veg or noodles in chicken chow mein!! Prawn toast were just big,oily slices of fried bread with no taste. Wish I had eaten before giving tip!!

Not good at all I'd even travel to another town before I'd eat anything from their. Went for Fish and chips but they didn't have any thing there Nothing apart from Anemic Chicken Disgusting

Asked for vegetable chowmein with black bean sauce (vegetarian) and banana fritters. Told theres a 10 minimum spend. Ask for some plain chicken (to feed to the cats for a treat). Asked if i mean chicken chowmein, reiterate 'plain chicken, just chicken with no sauce, noodles or any of it', yup okay sure done. Received special chow mein with black bean sauce and a plain chow mein. Picked the meat out of my noodles and fed it to the cats, and after all that the sauce was pretty bland anyway. Friendly staff though.
