New Hedges Tavern in Pembrokeshire

Food was very good and hot, we had the fish and chips. The chips were yummy. Husband had house burger which he said was delicious. Family run pub. Hope they will open in the winter for the locals. Would be fabulous to have curry nights etc. Would make a fabulous local music venue.

Prices seem to of gone up Like everything but we all had steak and it was amazing. Perfectly cooked and tasty and we could take our dog in too we will definitely be going back. Lovely

Great service and amazing food! We missed the Sunday lunch by half hour unfortunately but the food we ordered was delicious. Good communication and helpful. Will definitely return on our next visit to West Wales

First visit of 2022 and pleased to say the progress made last year has been continued and, if possible, improved. Staff were great, barman was really friendly and helpful, food was delicious and prices are very reasonable. Every plate was cleared and thoroughly enjoyed. Meals chosen included garlic mushroom croquettes, mackerel pate (starters), chicken tikka, battered cod, sirloin steak (mains), chocolate ganash, sticky toffee pudding and raspberry bakewell (desserts) - writing that made my mouth water. We visit quite often so will be making return visits.

I cant believe I paid £14.99 for fish and chips. I was in a group of 6 people who couldn't decide what an earth they did to the peas.They hid the chips under the fish which was a good idea as they were awful. I won't ever be going back and my advice to anyone who think they had a lovely meal is they need to get out more often.The 3 men had a pint of what should have been Stowford press but the looks on our faces wasn't quite sure what it wasWe went to pay our bill at the bar and waiting our turn when some some old guy said oh pay her .and walked off to serve others ... so we waited longer. Friendly staff. Vegan burger was tasty but the plates were cold so the food went cold quickly. My husband's sirloin steak was very good.

We had the sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection (medium/rare) and beautiful tender and flavourful. The wine list is small, but caters for most tastes and is competitively priced. Only small selection of puddings - we had strawberry cheesecake and lemon tart - both were lovely. Good value all round!

We went there on bank holiday weekend, Saturday, we hadn't booked and they were busy but they managed to squeeze us in . We were very grateful and the food and service was very good! Salt and pepper squid starter was really tasty, as were both of our main courses. Cajun chicken fillet and the lamb burger, and the chips and homemade slaw were lush ! Looking forward to going there again soon!

They forgot about our booking, luckily they still managed to get us in. It sounded like they also forgot the table after us too! Food was nice but the burgers don't mention cheese on the menu then come served with cheese on them. For someone very fussy in the family, we had to send this back. If you're fussy or have allergies, make sure to ask what things come served with because non of the meals on the menu seemed to mention everything that came with them. Staff were apologetic about this though and the service was extremely quick.

Booked for a meal with 7 people on recent holiday break. Plenty of parking and the new outside eating area looks good. The interior decoration leaves slot to be desired tiled floors taken straight out the 70's and dated furniture, pool table missing balls . You have to order food at the bar with no social distancing and the waitresses only carry food will not take orders for additional drinks and will not help with carrying drinks to the table, when you're food arrives instead a party member has to go back to the bar. Although the menu was limited the food was ok nothing special won't be returning there are much better places to eat locally.
