Arrived with 12 people for food, very busy but accompanied even though the restaurant was busy, fantastic service, the staff very friendly & food lovely, definitely worth a visit

We had dinner on two occasions. Food was great, big portions, great value for the price. Casual, low key atmosphere, pretty decorations. Service was excellent, waiters were attentive without being overbearing.

Rated 3 as I didn't go for the full experience of food & drink. I'm sure I would probably taste higher if I did so. The beer was nice and the staff friendly. Plenty of parking.

It’s an amazing place. We stayed here with the family for one night. Everything was as I dreamed: fireplace, pub, good dinner and big room. Thank you!

From arrival on a Saturday evening in mid December just for a night, the welcome here is second to none. The charm of this hostelry has to be sampled if you're in this part of the beautiful Welsh scenery. The food is great, the breakfast leaves you gasping, and the whole atmosphere is a second visit must.Absolutely loved our stay....albeit too short.Steve & Charlotte HowellHull

Plenty of parking, a warm welcome and very good food. We found this gem in the Brit Stops guide for pub stopovers. We were able to stay on our campervan and had a very nice meal. We walked around the town before retiring and it's beautiful. If we're ever back in the area will definitely stop again. The restaurant was beautiful, as was the beer garden.

Fabulous food...stayed around the corner..stopped in for a roast dinner ...best roast dinner we've ever had the veg taste like they had just come from out the ground. Meat was tender and moist..roast potatoes were crispy and fluffy the veg comes separately so you can have what you like...£11,95 is a bargain...the staff were wonderful couldn't do enough....thanks Pasonage

Such a lovely and friendly warm welcome by the staff. We stayed overnight in the car park for free (using our Britstops book). Beautiful location and the food was delicious. Hubbie had the steak and it melted in his mouth. The steak and ale pie was super tasty. Would highly recommend.

Lovely food and range of beers, can highly recommend the seafood starters. Friendly and accommodating staff. Large area inside to eat and a big garden with undercover area too. Ample parking. Great pub for all ages :)
