Awful! Absolutely symbolic! It's a shame as the rest of the castle, grounds & staff were amazing... unfortunately the restaurant really lets the rest of this beautiful attraction down. I would suggest retraining of senior staff (the younger waitresses were helpful and friendly) and an improvement in management are strongly needed.

Easy to find. Staff were curt and rude. Shame to see.the secret owl garden had gone we cant wait to see them in their new home at Noble court holiday park.

Such a friendly welcome at the gate and in the owl area. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, answering any questions guests asked. The grounds are a lovely place to explore and with the maze and children play area younger visitors are also entertained.Dogs are welcome in the grounds, but not in the owl area or on the castle tour. There is a so called "doggy day care area" near the owl area but this could be vastly improved but on saying that I would still highly recommend this castle for a day out.

A must when visiting the castle is a meal or snack in the restaurant. A good sitting area inside and out. Tasty food some of which is Spanish themed due to the lady owner being Spanish. One of the rooms is themed as a Spanish bodega see pics and some nights this is used for Spanish nights.

Of all the places I'd eaten in Wales, this simple lunch stands out the most. I had the most delicious cheese and chutney panini, that I've tried unsuccessfully to duplicate at home, and an assortment of salads. I wish I lived closer, so I could come back and enjoy the cafe more often.

Absolutely scrumptious home made Spanish dishes!!!! The salmon and chorizo fiduea was to die for!!! The whole of Picton Castle is worth the visit!

The cafe serves Spanish food and drink with generous portions served efficiently and in a friendly, welcoming way.
