south beach bar grill in Pembrokeshire

Went there last Saturday night with my family. Staff were so friendly and accommodating but the food is where it got disappointing. My husband and I ordered the chicken curry. I don't know what their version of that is, but nothing about it was even remotely close to a curry. It was chicken pieces marinaded in tomato puree. Not a curry at all. Tasted horrendous too. We were also unwell after it. We love Tenby but we wont be eating here again.

Me and my partner went there 1 night was welcomed in well good service think the lady that showed us to the table was the manager however the next day me and my partner decided to go back with our 3 children and was told the bar was shut by a man which I'm assuming was the manager on that day even though we witnessed a few people going in and getting shown to seats my partner then re entered and asked again but was told they were closed and the people entering had booked so I approached a lady and gentleman that had been shown to there seats after we were told they were shut and they replied they had not booked and it was the first time they had been there so to us it seemed that the manager wasn't interested in having 3 small children in there restaurant even though tenby is a family destination

Came across this place yesterday early afternoon. No menu outside but fantastic location so we decided to give it a chance. Unfortunately the service was poor. They took a long time to take our order. We went with the coffee and cake deal. After quite a wait the coffee arrived but the cake never did. Despite this they still tried to charge us for the cake as well as the coffee. Poor organisation and service, all seemed rather chaotic. Such a shame as it is a lovely setting.

Had an amazing meal with great presentation. Great service.

I stumbled upon this beach bar upon a visit to Tenby. The food was good and the portion sizes are very generous in comparison to what you'd get at a similar style restaurant in England. The location of this eatery is perfect for beach users and those wanting to eat or have a drink on the beachfront. The bonus was that the staff are lovely and the service attentive.

Amazing restaurant, with a good variety of food, the staff are so welcoming and lovely. If your visiting busy Tenby this is the place to eat at! Book in advance. This beautiful little gem is right on the beach, with beautiful views and walks. Will definitely book again. Diolch or galon for a beautiful evening.

A nice place to eat out. Friendly staff.Lazy cow burger was ok but pretty tasteless.I had chicken ceasar salad which was very nice.Fish and chips were ok too.Overall ,an ok dining experience.

Coffee was just burnt milk with half a shot. Your probably safer with a beer.

Great location, good food. Good selection of seafood, burgers, salads and sides. We were lucky to get a table as we didn’t book ahead, which is recommended. Top location, overlooking the beach.
