Just the best lobster ever, huge and so tasty. I also had the scallops and sea bass starter.... also divine. Please don't go and then decide not to eat or just order the Carrots!!! Restaurants have bills to pay and you take up tables for people that want to eat. Brilliant staff, INCREDIBLY tolerant, and nice. Thank you.

Great meal. The surf and turf was particularly delicious, as was the cod. Gins nice too. Service impeccable. Our third visit.

Genial, friendly and welcoming. My companions enjoyed the local gin and timing while I opted for a sweeter rum ginger and lime twist. We all went for oyster starters, which were very good, although the anise and gin melange was left uneaten - not quite the right balance of flavours. We parted ways on the main course. Two of us had the bouillabaisse, which was delicious, if slightly fiddlier than I remember. One of us the surf and turf, which requires some determination to consume, it’s a large steak with half a lobster Thermidor. Not for the the faint hearted.Clever discreet sound proofing kept the level of clatter to a minimum, and we enjoyed a very amicable evening.

The service was friendly and we had a nice evening. However, there was only one veggie option on the menu at dinner and the price for the mushroom risotto seemed expensive to me. Personally I didn't enjoy the veggie option but others in the group enjoyed the meat/fish options.

Been here twice and both meals were excellent. All food served here is fresh and locally source which is very noticeable when having it. My only complaint is that the service was a a bit slow but the food quality over came this. If you are staying around this area, definitely try this place

Booked for our last evening after a great week in Solfach, not in the least disappointed in fact my wife and i cant wait to return, admittedly not cheap but the quality of the food was some of the best we've eaten in a long time. The atmosphere very relaxed made more so by the front of house staff. Most definitely worth a visit.

Turned away for the second time in 2 consecutive bookings for a table booked at 8.30 pm and confirmed at lunchtime. If waiting outside in the rain is your thing this is the place for you!A year ago we booked a table following my son’s ordination at St David’s cathedral as a deacon. Turned away at 8.30 pm and after a 30 minute wait got a table. Two free cocktails followed.Fast forward 12 months and my son is being ordained as a priest, thinking lightning never strikes twice?!,we book another table for 8.30 pm only to be turned away again in violently inclement weather!! This time we cancel our table and the arrogance and unapologetic nature of the staff member was unbelievable. We will not be troubling this establishment with our patronage again and advise you not to either but if you do don’t let your taxi go until you are seated! Avarice not service!

My second visit, after a 3 year gap and the quality has not changed! Prices have gone up a fair bit but the food justified the price. Fabulous local sirloin steak cooked to perfection, and a very generous portion!. Lovely bubbly manageress too, made us feel very welcome...

Booked a table over the phone but our booking had been deleted by the owner. Luckily the lady who greeted me recalled our conversation and seated us immediately.I wanted to know what lager was available but the young waitress didn’t knowWe also ordered a small glass of red and commented on the size when it came, thinking they were being generous, until we saw the bill £9.30 for 1 glassWe both ordered beef which we couldn’t eat as it was too rare. We were told when the plates were cleared that we could have said we didn’t want it rare but how were we to know? We should have been asked if there was a choice,It’s a real shame as the rest of the meal was delicious. A bit more attention when taking the order would have made a difference. I would suggest a lack of training rather than the fault of the young waitress .

We had a lovely lunch. Both, our lobster as well as the beef filet were amazing. We especially loved the very cheerful service. Unfortunately I had to drive and could not try all the great Gin. Next time ❤️
