Lovely food, friendly staff

We have just returned from a weeks holiday in Jameston. We had many trips to the Swanlake inn, sampled Sunday lunch , evening meals and the lunch time menu . It was excellent. Rhiannon and the team were brilliant and so welcoming to me and my family . Thanks for the cocktails Rhian 👍

Excellent Pub great Guiness and other beers. What more do you have to like? Sorry 😞 forgot about the food - I'll try that next time.

First visit, Nice beer garden good choice of drinks and nice welcome.

We've just been for an amazing Sunday lunch..Roast beef x4 , pork and turkey meals all served with a lovely selection of vegetables and extra gravy ..would definitely recommend.

Very friendly and good beer with a nice outdoors area. We'll cooked basic pub menu. Not much for vegans though.

We returned here after 15 years and were not disappointed. My husband and I came here on our first date and when we returned, it was just the same, welcoming, warm, local, friendly pub that it always has been. This place has done what others couldn't and kept that home from home feeling that just makes me want to come back again and again. The food was lovely, onion rings a bit too greasy but the chips were delicious, the meats were perfectly cooked and the special felt like it was made with love straight from angels. Divine. Looking for reasons to return.

Could do with a good clean. Our table was sticky and cobwebs on the lamps. The sea bass was delicious as was the fish on the fish and chips. The home made chops were so soggy and undercooked and had absorbed the oil from the frier.

Hi we visited this pub today, although the staff were friendly we was very disappointed with our food. £9.95 for a baguette with a bit off lettuce and Pepper! My partner had the prawns which was extremely watery, and asked for no salad and still got charged £9.95 for it, I had the ham which literally was chunks so thick I had to pick it out and cut it up myself.. my whole meal came to £38 something for 2 baguettes at 9.95 EACH with a bit of lettuce and Pepper on the side of 1.. a childs nuggets and chips and beans and portion off chips and cheese and a portion off 5 onion rings which cost £3.50! Food is very over priced, with a baguette off that price maybe start serving coleslaw crisps and a bit off extra salad on the side to! May I add I don't know if its a different owners but we've been there before and the food was lovely!We won't be back!

Lovely pub, child and pet friendly. Food was great comfort food which was served promptly.
