The Cookhouse in Pembrokeshire

I live locally and getting Cookhouse pizza used to be a real treat! It's still a great pizza base and a creative menu that really stands out locally, but the quality of vegan ingredients went down the hill in the last two months. First it was different cheese, then missing ingredients which is still fine. But my most recent pizza was with chutney and RAISINS instead of carmelised onion --- raisins on a pizza definitely aren't my thing! On top of that, either really poor vegan cheese, or it was simply off as the whole thing tasted mouldy.It seems that with the end of the summer season came cost cutting, which is a real shame. Perhaps a smaller menu for these less busy months could help? I'd consider veggie instead of vegan but now I'm just reluctant to come back

Tried three pizzas. Very tasty. Vegetarian one could have just done with a little more goats cheese and maybe would have been worthy of all five stars. Can see why it's always busy, very tasty and friendly service.

Put in an advance order for 12 pizzas for our guests at Newgale Lodge. Despite it being really busy and peak hours, the pizzas were collected on time and were very well received. Everyone wanted to know where they came from. Service with a smile and very engaging staff.

The pizza was really good, tasty and soft. But the chicken tacos were swimming in grease/oil inside the container and the chicken bits were too chewy. We pre-ordered on the phone but still had to wait when picking up.

Just had to stop at this quirky little place at the side of a road in a converted horse trailer. Wow! So glad I did. The tacos were amazing, tasty and looked delicious too. So good, I didn't have a chance to take a photo as I couldn't resist the smell. My only gripe is that I didn't have enough room in my stomach to have another. But, there is always tomorrow!! * Edit* Had to go back for pizza the same evening. Included photos 😂

Mammoth size tacos cooked inside a wood fire pizza oven, out of a converted horse box! 🌮 Yes please!!Silently parked in the lay-by off the St David’s Road Roundabout past Lidl, this small food truck is churning out homemade artisan pizzas and tacos!I chose the Marinated Chicken Taco and it was a taste explosion!At first bite I was hit by the intense flavour of the chicken marinade: spicy, zingy and pungent flavours of garlic and coriander. The taco was also filled with a fresh vibrant cabbage slaw, the creamiest guacamole and topped with a drizzle of fiery salsa sauce.Eventhough there was so much going on inside the taco, with every bite you were always pleasantly reminded of the smoke charred tortilla on the outside.Keep up the good work ladies, and everyone near by, get yourself down to The Cookhouse in Haverfordwest! You won’t be disappointed!!

What a treat!! Working in the area and had passed here a few times. Decided to try their pizza and it was amazing. The guy and young lady there were really nice. I'd recommend calling first, we had to wait, but its wasn't a problem. Mexican pizza is my recommendation 😋

Very tasty, lovely food BUT... OVER Priced in my oppionion !I had tacos but there was no salad like photo advertised, side salad if that!? Mainly sauce\salsa on the side !!! and I don't want to say... but I was very disappointed with mine! It Looked nothing like photo! Pizza's were nice. Order Was not ready when picked up & pre ordered it aswell! Probably won't order another one. ☹️Thank you!

The noodles on Wednesday are very tasty. Thurs-Sun Pizza menu is excellent. I have had the Margherita pizza and Italian. They both taste great, but if I had a favorite it would be the Italian.

Great food on a Saturday night. Went here on recommendation from a friend. Lovely tasty tacos, fully loaded with super fresh ingredients. Quesadilla s with chicken were delicious. Well done ladies.I will returnRegardsChris L
