The Cove Inn in Pembrokeshire

Poor selection of starters steak very fatty. Ordered 2 ribeye steaks they only had 1. Salad was non existent. Tinned sweetcorn on the salad which weren't drained properly. Dirty fries were rubbish may as well of asked for chips and cheese and the cheesy garlic baguette was not even cooked. It was like they defrosted cheap garlic baguettes in the microwave then chucked cheap cheese slices on it hardly any garlic in it. Definitely won't be going back there again. Absolutely disgusting that dogs are allowed in a place with food very unhygienic

Lovely atmosphere until we decided to cancel the rest of out food due to the starters being badly cooked the mussels were well overdone (should not be chewy), I'm afraid to say the garlic mushrooms seemed to come from a can.... I wouldnt have written a review if the 2 girl staff weren't so rude and unwelcoming but the fella behind the bar really did do his best to resolve the issues and made good of everything by not charging us for 1 of the meals.

Had the Sunday lunch platter here and it's one of the best Sunday dinners I've ever had! The only downside was we could of done with more veg between the 4 of us.Highly recommended and we will definitely return.

Food was lovely but the staff leave this place down. They need manners and training on how too put plates and glasses down gently. If it wasn't for the staff being rude and the way they put glasses down on the table they'd have 5stars.

Lovely atmosphere and dog friendly. The service was good and some meals were superb. However two on our table ordered fish and chips and the fish was absolutely raw! Table next to us also had a chicken dish which they also complained about being raw.Seems they’re pumping out food faster than they can cook it, would have rather we they took longer as the food came out so fast

Went with family (6 of us) on a busy Saturday night. They had hen parties and all sorts yet the waiting staff were on point, noticing when drinks were low. Staff are lovely, food is even better, all 6 of us ordered something different (meat eats to vegans) and not a single on of us had a complaint.Overall, great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff. Can't ask for more.

The lunch menu is displayed on the outside of the window - we intended to opt for the ciabatta meal with fries, at £8 this seemed very reasonable. Once in and with drinks ordered, we were told that this was not an option due to it being a Sunday? A little awkward to leave at this point. Instead we thought we'd make the most of it and ended up ordering meals for around double the price we had anticipated. We travelled to this restaurant with excellent expectations, we were sadly let down with the portions of fish, given most of the meal was batter(and overcooked). The rest of the meals were okay, the cove burger included a large amount of tasty beef. Although slightly on the pricey side. The salad was very heavily dressed with vinegar - nice for those that like it but over powering in general. The young waitress who took our order was lovely and most helpful as was the lady who agreed to refund both fish meals, she was clearly able to see that the fish was below par. For that we were grateful. The set up seemed to lack some professionalism in terms of the gentleman who worked there , who seemed more interested in playing with his phone than taking care of customers. His t shirt was stained on the back and he was continually wiping his nose with his hand. He gave the impression he was in charge but did little to show it, almost arrogant in his comment about the lunch menu being different on a Sunday.We were never asked if we wanted more drinks during the meal or if everything was okay. In broader terms the cove looks very stylish from the outside but the style was over substance. Not great value for money, better places to eat in Tenby. Fish here should be fresh and well cooked as standard. A bit of a let down but grateful for the 2 refunded meals.

Nice place, good atmosphere, but service was a bit slow, and other tables that came in after me got their food delivered before me. I only ordered a bowl of cheesy chips!. Staff were polite though and tpilets clean

On holiday here and visited the Cove twice. Delicious both times. Had the most amazing fish platter sharer with crusty bread. Staff are lovely too. I'll be back.

Fantastic place !! Drinks are great and food was super delicious!! 😋 .. staff were really nice and friendly ... bar manager was excellent and nothing was too much bother. I can't wait to come back in a few weeks time... I've recommended this place to everyone!
