If you’re looking for a warm welcoming pub with a wonderful landlady and friendly staff then look no further . The Dragon has a welcoming atmosphere is very relaxing. The locals create a wonderful backdrop and are always happy to have a chat, I’ve enjoyed getting to know them . The large south facing garden on a sunny day is a delightful. Theres a new menu and it hits the spot with its delicious, tasty and diverse offerings , definitely the best burger I’ve had in a long time, the chips are crispy and the burritos are highly addictive. The fish n chips will leave you hankering for more . There’s also a choice of roast on Sundays too. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed by this charming local, the only problem is resisting the urge to spend more time there !

Really warm welcome. No food currently as cannot get a chef but more than make up for it with the welcome. Dog friendly and a beer garden at the back.

They have just decided to start serving a Sunday Lunches again. OMG the worse food I’ve ever experienced in a pub.It made school dinners look like a gourmet meal!!!!Even the waitress said she was embarrassed to serve it to us.The person who actually cooked and plated it up must have never been taught a thing in the kitchen. It really was sad to see.Needless to say we sent both meals back and paid for our drinks and walked out.Such a shame really because the food used to be really good and in the past we had some cracking meals.Just seems the current management have really taken their eye of the ball and actually allowing food To be served that bad will definitely be doing more harm than good to this nice pub.It won’t stop us having a drink there but the food would need a massive improvement.

Only had a brief visit to grab a drink before a local restaurant opened. I was delighted to see they had a local (to me) cider from Somerset! We only stopped in for 30 minutes but the staff were very friendly. We will pop in again when we are next in the area.

Awful service, horrible land lady and staff that look under the legal age to serve. Oh and smells of urine throughout.Went in to grab a bite to eat, a chap that looked too young to be legally working in a licenced premises told us that food had finished... At 2pm. We then asked at the bar if it was ok if we ordered something else from elsewhere. We were told yes.We ordered our food and when it came the landlady came and kicked us out after pouring my drink into a cartoon that contained rubbish. She then refused to refund the drink. I would not recommend unless you are local and already know them as it was a bit backwards to be honest. Smells heavily of urine.

Friendly welcome, good choice of drinks and great tasting food!

Girls with glasses had an attitude problem, probably in the wrong line of work seeing as she said we waisted her time for asking for a menu and then changed our mind. Getting paid for that love it’s called work.Rest of staff lovely. Friendly atmosphere, outside area was nice.

Fantastic Sunday dinners. 10hr slow cooked roast beef is exceptional. As is the pork, and the nut roast. Welcoming and friendly staff.
