To make it clear this low grading is in NO way directed at the staff but the pub company MarsdensI have been visiting Solva for over 40 years as a child and now with my adult childrenWe were devastated when we arrived to find the manager Josh not in post at the Harbour and the wonderfully entertaining quiz not on as this was run by Josh’s fatherI understand the background but perhaps you fail tounderstand the importance of local people looking after your pubs and the extra something they bring with themYou are faceless, they are not. They make the place what it is with hard work, local knowledge and commitment. The pub under the management of Josh was vibrant, welcoming and inclusive . You have taken the soul from it. I hope this is not a decision you regret, as in the financial climate you can’t afford to lose regulars or the tourist trade that has come back time after time because of the local welcome!!

The pub is perfectly situated to take advantage of the tourist trade in the summer months. It's in a fabulous location right on the harbour as its name suggests. We have been here a couple of times now and had food and drinks. It's dog friendly and has a decent size garden to the rear. The food is basic pub fare, done fairly well and served quickly, my only reason for not giving 5 stars is the guy behind the bar was morose!!! Never once cracked a smile and was not a good advert for the business, they did seem very under staffed though!! Otherwise a good experience.

Lovely setting, short on supplies after a busy weekend but food was tasty even with an item missing. Very attentive lady even though she was very busy

Good cold beer but you have to pay at the car park. Not much outside seating. Don't use the tables belonging to the adjacent restaurant. The delination isn't obvious.

We enjoyed a good lunch at the front of the Inn. Although the menu is not extensive and the offerings are quite basic dishes, everyone in the party enjoyed their food. Each plate was presented well, the staff were friendly and lovely and it was all very clean.Would love to see a really good ploughman’s on the menu, with local cheeses, and pickles.A good bread and some ham, or even some toasted sandwiches…….Just a shame that the view is actually the car park not the harbour, but there isn’t much you can do about that. All in all a great meal, served in good time by lovely staff. Well done and Thank you!

Friendly & attentive staff. Quick service and fantastic food. Opens earlier than Google says on a Saturday for breakfast, which is well priced and tasty. Seating both inside and out by the harbour. Open mic nights, pub quiz and pool table!

This is a lovely pub. Traditional pub food. Had to ask about gluten free but staff totally on top of their game and were able to recommend. Chips cooked in separate fryer. Had to have them.

Very dog friendly inside and outside tables available for our best friends. The food was just right and an excellent price. The best thing was the service from all their staff. Diolch (thank you).

Lovely pub. Called in after a walk over The Gribin to Gwadn beach. We had Scampi, chips and peas, followed by Sicilian Lemon Tart with Prosecco Sorbet. Very tasty with generous portions.
