On arrival the rear car park was full. Reception pointed to the closest car park at about 2 minutes walk. The cost was only £7 for the 24hrs do fairly cheap. The Hotel itself. The staff very friendly and the room clean and fairly quiet at night. The breakfast was very good with a good choice. Booked last minute and would book again. Location fantastic

Staff were fantastic. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bath/shower was spotless and shower curtain clean....However the building needs serious upgrades, painting, carpets, tile grout etc etc a big let down.

Everything you expect from a seaside B&B. There is a pool table and a bar, and they serve good food and breakfast. The lack of elevator can be a problem though

On the off chance we called for a bar meal on Easter Monday. We were pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality and value for money. We had fish and chips, the portion was generous and the taste delicious.Would highly recommend!Thank you.

Stayed for one night with my husband. Large room which was comfortable, we had a room with two singles pushed together. Everything we needed was there. Was a bit uncomfortable with the thick line of dust on the top of the pictures 🤣 but the bedding was clean and the bathroom. There was a restaurant/bar downstairs but we didn't use it we went out for meals with views over the water.Parking was a bit tight, the carpark was full and the road seemed busy and we weren't sure about leaving it out the front because we'd have to move it early in the morning, but a worker at lord Nelson was leaving and said we could have his space in the car park, so we were grateful for that. Had a good sleep was quiet. We did hear a few sounds from someone walking around above us but they weren't too bad.

The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The food was of a good standard with a really good breakfast. The hotel itself really needs some TLC as there lots of obvious defects to the building that need addressing. Still highly recommended.

Just one ceiling lamp out of four in the toilet were working.Just one ceiling lamp on the room was working. Our room rate didn't includes breakfast, therefore we bought it at reception. We were told that continental breakfast was available but the price is the same as the cooked breakfast, this is not as shown on the menu that was on the breakfast table. We normally have continental breakfast, I paid 2×£2 additional for the breakfast.

A worn down hotel, with staff lacking professional service skill and ignoring customers requests:1. Radiators not working, making the rooms boil2. Lights and fan in bathroom not working. Ceiling light without Earth connected (visible due to missing shade) Not complying with building regulations3. The food does not show any kind of skills. Tacos are normaly served warm with melted cheese etc. Not directly from the fridge which indicates it has been made much earlier4. Staff are not paying attention to food orders. Missing courses several times as they are too busy chatting with each other5. Cleaningnes is critisable. Obvious signs that tables etc. Not are cleaned and disinfected6. General condition of the Hotel is it need a total renovation.

We are local so recommending the food . Haven't stayed at the hotel.Had a delicious 2 course roast Sunday lunch today.Beef was deliciously tender, obviously freshly slow cooked with plenty of veg with a tasty gravy.Followed by homemade strawberry cheesecake to die for.Amazing value for 2 courses at only £10.Will be back as the staff are welcoming and friendly.
