A very pleasant surprise. Good pub food and a great welcome. The Mill Bridge seating area, with its statue of Henry Tudor is right opposite. Sit and watch the swans disturbing reflections of majestic Pembroke Castle and chill.

A really good diverse menu. Everything freshly cooked. The choices for meat or non meat eaters is very good. The beer is very reasonable for someone used to paying Bath prices. The puddings are proper old school.Excellent atmosphere. We will be back before heading home.

Fantastic pub! Don’t let the ‘Marstons’ logo on the sign fool you, this place makes its own food from fresh and it’s NOT the bought in frozen stuff you find in their managed houses! Great staff and friendly too. Definitely return when we’re in the area again soon

We had a really enjoyable meal, with excellent chips! Staff made us, and our children, feel really welcome - and our dog loved it too! Thank you.

If you are out and about with your dog and feel like a pint or two, your made to feel welcome with a treat for your 4 legged friend and able to eat inside with them. Highly recomeded also Loverly food, 🙂

An authentic pub with Very friendly service and carefully prepared home-cooked food. Great selection for the family with lots of traditional classics. first time our entire family cleared every single plate. Views from the beer garden are amazing.

This is a very friendly small pub by the castle. The beer was fresh, the food was awesome and the locals were friendly. I'd go back here in a heartbeat.

Very good food. Not too salty. My son loved his chicken burger. My wife the chicken and leek mashed potatoes dish. Homemade French fries and friendly service... ...and very close to the Castle!

Great pub food. Took some time b4 food was served but we were constantly being updated that food is on the way. Very polite staff.
